A beautifully renovated Korean-style family home, featuring modern amenities, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and spacious communal areas. Additionally, the property boasts a lovely garden and a terrace, which will soon be the site of a gardening project.

Occupying the second and third floors, with a 24-hour coworking space on the ground floor, we offer a warm and welcoming environment where you can connect with like-minded professionals from around the world, as well as local residents. This space serves as an excellent starting point for your digital nomad experience in Korea and a gateway to exploring further into Asia, with its workcation programs in Korea and Japan.

Managed by the Digital Nomads Korea community, this coliving space is designed to foster a sense of community among both local and international remote workers and digital nomads through a variety of engaging events and activities.

Will I have privacy?

We have eight private rooms and one shared dormitory. Private rooms are for one guest, or up to two guests in a queen room. Room 101 has six individually bookable bunk-bed spaces with privacy curtains. Bathrooms and common spaces are shared.

Are pets allowed?

Although we love pets, we are considering other residents who may have allergies and such.

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?

We’re happy to welcome couples and friends. You can share queen rooms 103, 201, 202, 203 and 204; please include both guests when booking. Rooms 102, 104, 205 and all dorm beds are single-occupancy. Extra fees may apply for a second guest in queen rooms. Please complete payment using the options shown on our booking page. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us here.

Is there a designated space for work?

Private rooms have a desk and chair. The B1 lounge is a relaxed space for light work and community time. Enclosed rooms in B1 are available for calls, meetings or focused work. Please respect other residents when using shared spaces.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?

You’ll be sharing the home with a friendly mix of local and international residents, including remote workers and digital nomads. Our community uses English as a common language, making it easier to meet people, join conversations and take part in shared activities. We also respect residents’ privacy and quiet work time.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?

The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?

You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.
- If the property substantially differ from what is advertiser, you report it to us and we will help you find another place.

What information do I need to supply for the application?

To apply, we ask you to fill out a short application form. This helps us learn more about you and your expectations from our coliving community. We want to ensure that everyone finds a great fit and has a wonderful experience!

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?

Check-in starts at 4 PM and check-out is by 11 AM. Please contact the host in advance about early arrival or late departure; these depend on availability and are not guaranteed.

Can I extend or shorten my stay?

We’re happy to help you explore a change of dates. Extensions depend on room availability, so please message us through your booking before changing your plans. Pricing depends on your dates and availability. If you need to shorten your stay or leave early, your booking’s cancellation terms apply and a refund is not automatic. Let us know your preferred dates and we’ll check the options with you.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?

Please agree on any visitors with the house team and the other residents in advance. The residential areas are shared private spaces, so please respect residents and house rules.

What potential costs are there besides the rent?

Thanks for asking! The displayed base room price is for one guest. A required one-time cleaning fee covers check-in cleaning and shared-space cleaning per booked room or dorm bed. Extra fees may apply for a second guest in a queen room, dryer use and optional monitor rental. Please check your booking total for all applicable charges. Prices depend on your dates and availability. We’re happy to explain the charges before you book.

Are all rooms furnished?

Yes. Rooms include a bed, desk and chair, storage and hangers, air conditioning and Korean floor heating. Bedding and towels are provided. Private rooms also have lamps. Room 101 has privacy curtains for each dorm bed. All bathrooms are shared.

Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?

Thanks for asking! Our required cleaning fee covers check-in cleaning and regular shared-space cleaning. We do not provide separate private-room cleaning during your stay. Bedding and towels are provided, and shared areas are cleaned weekly. Please message us through your booking if you have any questions; we’re happy to help explain what is included.

How many people will be living here during my stay?

We can host up to 19 guests. The house has 9 bedrooms and 14 beds: eight private rooms (five of which are queen rooms that can each host two guests) plus a dorm room with six individually bookable beds. The exact number of people staying at any time depends on bookings. We look forward to welcoming you to the community.

Is there a house/community manager?

Yes, our house team can help with house questions and community activities. Please contact the host through your booking messages whenever you need assistance.

What is the average length of stay?

Our residents stay for different lengths of time, so we do not have a confirmed average to share. Bookings on this platform have a minimum stay of one month. You are welcome to ask about a longer stay, subject to availability.

Are there any good restaurants nearby?

Yes, there are cafés and Korean and international restaurants in the surrounding Hongdae area. You can explore the neighborhood and find options that suit your taste. Feel free to ask us through your booking messages if you would like suggestions during your stay.

What public transportation is available?

Hongik University Station and local bus stops serve the area. The station connects to Line 2, the Airport Railroad and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. Check a current map for your preferred walking route.
