The Fayette Brooklyn Home is a beautiful and spacious located Williamsburg, Brooklyn.Your neighborhood is known for its vibrant cultural scene and diverse community. With eclectic restaurants, trendy cafes, and easy access to parks, it offers residents a dynamic and lively urban experience. Everyday life is as comfortable as it possibly can be: bi-weekly cleaning, all great-sized and well-designed rooms, easy access to public transit, spacious living room with a smart TV.
You cover a monthly fee and everything comes included: no utility bills, no unexpected maintenance costs!
The prices provided are intended as an initial estimate and are calculated on the basis of a 12-month contract. However, the ultimate pricing will be influenced by several factors, including seasonal variations, availability, and the level of commitment.

Fayette Home was exclusively designed to be comfortable for all members in any room of the house. Our Coliving space includes a compact kitchen, bar seats and couch for a chill zone with a huge TV, allowing you plenty of room to cook, work and relax, all while getting to know people from all around the world. Our kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, cookware, and everything else you'll need to make a home-cooked meal.
It also included: coffee grounds, tea, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, and garbage/recycling bags, all of which are routinely restocked.

Are there separate work areas in the coliving space?We have a living room area that you can use to work, there is no specified work area in the building. However, we have a partnership with a coworking.

Will I have privacy?All guests have a bedroom within the home for more privacy.
Guests are to share the furnished common areas respectfully. -
Are couples allowed? Can I split the rent with a friend?We do allow couples and friends to stay in private rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort.

What do you look for in applicants?We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people.

Can I check-in early? Late?You are allowed to check in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate. Night check-in (after 9 pm) may be also organized for an extra fee of $35 USD. We can't guarantee check-in between 12:00 am and 9 am, however, if we are able to do it, there will be a $70 late check-in fee.

Is there a Credit Score required?We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?Security deposits are typically returned within 2 weeks after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected. .

Are guests allowed during the day/night?You may have overnight guests as a paid service. It will be $15 / night. Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance if someone is coming.

Are kids allowed?As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.

Are service and emotional support animals allowed?We have a no-pet policy.

Can I change rooms or apartments?Of course. If a room is available and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee.

Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly.

Can I receive post/mail to the property?Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.

What are the quiet hours?On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.

What is the policy on alcohol?Alcohol – being a health-oriented community, we recommend minimizing alcohol consumption.

What potential costs are there besides the rent?We recommend that you have renters insurance. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own.
Storage lockers and parking are additional costs. -
Are all rooms furnished?The common areas come fully furnished.
Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential.
You can add any furniture (including the hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy. -
Any meals/snacks included?No. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience. -
Are the private bedrooms cleaned?Entire and deep cleaning is carried out every week, including linen and towel changes.
We would expect and appreciate it that you clean up after yourself if you make any excessive mess. -
Are there any laundry options?We have laundry machines available to everyone.

Is there a house/community manager?Yes. The community manager is responsible for maintaining a good atmosphere in the house and the well-being of the members.

What is the average length of stay?Most people are staying with us for a while. Between 6 to 12 months on average.

Are my belongings safe?Even though we have been lucky that nothing has gone missing, we recommend all our members to keep their valuable belongings in their rooms. For extra precaution, buy a Renters Insurance in case of lost items and accidents.

Can I lock my bedroom door?There is a restriction in New York for any outside bedroom locks, but you can lock your bedroom when you are inside. You shouldn't worry about your safety when you are out:
1) You will have a safe in the room
2) We have cameras in all common areas
3) We have only long-term residents (usually people staying with us for 6-8 months, but not less than a month). There are no strangers for 1-2 nights stay and all residents are checked during the reservation process. -
Does the building have security? What is done to make me feel safe?We take your safety very seriously. The last thing we want is to have a reputation for not being a safe place to stay. We screen both our staff and guests, provide 24-hour security and CCTV cameras are usually installed. Plus, you have people in the house practically 24 hours a day.
