This unique place has a style of its own. Located in heart of Dutch Kills Long Island City, 3 very short block to Manhattan subway stop. Only 10min ride to midtown Manhattan. Bathroom is shared with 2 other roommates who are hardly ever home. Access to backyard with a BBQ and fire pit. Washer and dryer is also included in the basement laundry room.

About Long Island City
How is the area around the house? This area is called Dutch Kills, which is a community in northern Long Island City and just a little south of Astoria, which are very popular destinations for cafe's and restaurants. It is also 3 stops away from Greenpoint and Williamsburg for those of you interested in exploring two of the hottest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, not to mention NYC. We have 3 very famous galleries with in a walking distance. Fisher Landau Center for Art, Flux Factory, and PS1 which is part of the Modern Museum of Art (MoMa). Since this area is so close to Queensboro Bridge the main transportation hub of Queens, this has traditionally been a place for back businesses supplying Manhattan with bread, truffles, silk, etc, but over the last 10 years artists have taken over these warehouse spaces and made them into work/live loft studios. It’s a very interesting area and I think you will be very pleased.
