Our guests need to have a good work/life balance. Guests should respect the work being done and hopefully participate in the fun around them. About Chicá, Chame
The hotel is nestled on the side of a mountain in the jungle. It is within a small Spanish town about 15 minutes from the main highway near the oldest national park in Panama. There are small markets, bakeries, fondas (family restaurants) within the town. You 10 minutes from the national parks, hiking, waterfalls and swimming. The beach is approximately 20 minutes away down the mountain to the beaches of West Panama.

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

You do not NEED a vehicle however it is highly recommended to have one. We are thinking of doing a car share for long-term renters. Small markets are walking distance and we do weekly runs to grocery stores / shopping centers and can cooridinate.

Yes, We throw a few events a month and are happy to coordinate some events with our guests!
No, we are no longer operating the restaurant. There are fondas/bakeries nearby and you have full access to the hotel equipped kitchen. We do many shared dinners and meals but we all chip in on these.
