Sanur is a relaxed, family-friendly town—less party-focused than other spots in Bali. You’ll often meet students and teachers from nearby schools and universities, divers and surf enthusiasts who use the nearby port, NGO and conservation workers, and international visitors attending local exhibitions and events. Many of the short-term visitors come for the conferences and workshops, alongside digital nomads, wellness travelers, and creative professionals. It’s a diverse, friendly mix.

Yes — there are plenty of great restaurants within easy reach. You'll find local warungs serving Balinese dishes, fresh seafood spots, cozy cafés, and a few international restaurants all within a 5–15 minute walk or short bike ride. We’re happy to recommend our favorite places when you arrive!
We offer bicycles and a motorbike (with surf rack) for rent. A car with driver can also be arranged for hire—pricing depends on availability and extra fees may apply (we may ask guests to chip in for gas on group trips). Local ride‑hailing apps are widely available, and Sanur’s shuttle bus is a convenient, more sustainable way to explore.
The nearest international airport is about 14.4 km away — roughly 20–30 minutes by car depending on traffic. We’re happy to help with directions and can recommend the best transport options.
We are by Batursari road, a much more local neighborhood in the area of ricefields with jogging tracks where sunset can be enjoyed. There are some groceries, restaurants, cafes, kids playground, laundromat, spa, and karaoke bar all within walking distance.
