From Hodogaya, it’s only about 3 minutes to Yokohama, and around 30–40 minutes by direct train to major stations like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Shinagawa, and Ikebukuro via the JR Yokosuka and Shonan-Shinjuku Lines.

As the name suggests, Hodogaya is a hilly neighborhood, with some steep slopes along the way — but you can easily get around using local buses or shared bikes.
There’s also a bus stop just 5 minutes away, offering a short 10-minute ride to Koganecho, an area known for its lively restaurants and bars.
