Will I have privacy?All guests have a bedroom (private or shared) within the home for more privacy. All beds in shared dorms have curtains. Guests can share the furnished common areas respectfully.

Are guests allowed during the day/night?Guests are allowed in the visiting area but NOT in the bedrooms. Strictly no guests overnight.
Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions. -
Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. That includes all private and communal rooms. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do it outside, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly.

What are the quiet hours?On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.

What is the policy on alcohol?It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.

Are the private bedrooms cleaned?Entire and deep cleaning is carried out every week, including linen and towel changes.

What public transportation is available?Even though our location is good if you'd like to walk or bike, it's a short distance to bus stations.

How far is it to the nearest airport?You can take a taxi to Florianopolis airport and be there in just 30 minutes. There are also shuttle-buses.

What is there to do in the area?We have a beautiful channel inside our land and you can use one of our kayaks or stand-up paddle on it. We are also next to several beaches, trails, and natural pools.
