As one of the oldest in the city, Mexicaltzingo neighborhood still retains some of the city's most ancient architecture and temples. During your stay with us, you will be surrounded by open green spaces, ample historical gastronomic tradition, design galleries, and a wide offer of modern consumer services. Of course, like any self-respecting traditional neighborhood in Mexico, Mexicaltzingo has its own local market where you can try typical dishes of the region, buy fresh produce and find plenty of handcrafted souvenirs. Make sure you don’t miss Guadalajara's famous "Nieves de Garrafa" (Garrafa Ice Cream) for amazing handmade fruit sorbet.
