Your host onboarding checklist
Use this checklist when you set up Coliving.com — and again before each new listing goes live. Going through it in order saves rework.
Account & verification
- Sign up and confirm email
- Verify phone number
- Upload ID and complete identity check
- Add business documents (if hosting as a company)
- Connect a payout method in Wallet
- Use a strong, unique password
Your team (optional)
- Invite team members in Team
- Assign roles (Listing manager / Booking manager / Finance manager)
- Stop sharing login credentials
Your first listing
- Decide whether to list one large coliving or one listing per building
- Add basic details (name, address, type)
- Photograph every bookable room and common space (see Photos that convert)
- Write descriptions for the listing and each room
- Set house rules and stay policies
- Set base pricing per room
- Set availability and minimum/maximum stay
- Configure cancellation policy
- Upload check-in instructions
- Set up an FAQ
Pre-publish review
- Open the Listing Quality Score panel and address red/yellow items
- Click Request approval — will appear once you reach at least 50% Listing Quality Score(LQS)
- Wait for Coliving review (usually 1–2 business days)
Once you're live
- Enable push notifications on your phone (so you don't miss request alerts)
- Add
noreply@coliving.comto your email contacts - Set your typical response time expectation (aim for under 4 hours)
- Read How booking requests work
Within the first month
- Respond to your first 5 requests within an hour each
- Ask early residents for feedback you can use to improve the listing
- Review your conversion rate (views → requests → bookings) and adjust pricing or photos
