What hosting on Coliving.com looks like
Welcome. Whether you run a single shared apartment or 200 rooms across a city, Coliving.com is built to make medium-to-long stay hosting easier. Here's how the platform works at a glance, so you know what to expect before you dive in.
What Coliving.com is
Coliving.com is a booking platform for furnished, flexible stays — typically one month and up. Residents find your place, request to book, and pay through the platform. You approve the request, welcome them in, and we handle payments and payouts.
We're not a property manager. You set the rules, the pricing, and the standards. We bring you the residents and the operational tooling.
The host lifecycle
Hosting on Coliving.com follows a simple loop:
- List — create a listing for each property, with rooms, photos, rules, and pricing.
- Get found — your listing appears in search results that match resident filters.
- Receive requests — residents send booking requests for specific dates and rooms.
- Respond — you accept or decline. Fast responses win more bookings.
- Host the stay — share check-in info, answer questions, manage extensions.
- Get paid — payouts go to your bank on a regular schedule.
- Build reputation — reviews and performance scores feed back into search ranking.
The key things in your dashboard
You'll spend most of your time in five places:
- Listings — create, edit, and pause properties.
- Bookings — see requests, accept or decline, manage confirmed stays.
- Inbox — message residents; all conversations stay on-platform.
- Wallet — connect your payout method and track payments.
- Team — invite colleagues instead of sharing a login.
Vocabulary you'll see
- Listing — one property (e.g. a coliving house or apartment building).
- Room — an individual bookable unit inside a listing.
- Request — a resident's proposal to book; you have a limited window to respond.
- Booking — an accepted request, now a confirmed stay.
- Move-in / move-out — the agreed check-in and check-out dates.
- Payout — money we transfer to your bank after a booking starts.
- Listing Quality Score — our signal that a listing is ready to be published.

Frequently asked questions
Q: How long does it take to publish my first listing?
A:Once your listing reaches at least a 50% Listing Quality Score, you can submit it for approval. Our team will then review the listing to ensure it meets all required criteria and quality standards. The review process typically takes 1–2 business days. If approved, the listing will be published. Completing all listing details, photos, and descriptions accurately can help speed up the review process and improve the likelihood of approval.
Q: Can I host as an individual, company, or property manager?
A: Coliving.com is designed for professional operators. You can host as a Company/Operator or a Property Manager, provided you have the legal right and authorization to list the accommodation. We do not support independent individual hosts.
Supported Host Types
Company / Operator: You operate under a company brand and list your properties under that brand.
Property Manager: You manage listings and daily operations on behalf of an owner or operator, with their explicit permission.
Note on Individual Hosts: Coliving.com does not support independent individuals. To host on our platform, you must fall into one of the two professional categories listed above.
Q: Can I host as a company or property manager, not as an individual?
A: Yes. See Hosting as an individual vs. a company.
Q: What does Coliving.com charge?
A: We charge a service fee per booking. See Fees and payouts at a glance for the breakdown.
Q: When do I get paid?
A: Payouts are released 48 hours after the resident has successfully moved in. See When and how you get paid.
