Located in the northwest of Berlin, Wedding is a multicultural, up-and-coming neighborhood that belongs to the larger district of Mitte and has retained a true Berlin atmosphere. Characterized by many old buildings from the Wilhelminian era and the 1920s, Wedding is one of the particularly beautiful residential areas of Berlin that has been spared many of the modern changes experienced by other parts of the city after the end of the Cold War.
Wedding attracts numerous young professionals and artists, and recently many start-ups have established their bases here. To complement this motivating environment, many cool restaurants and bars ensure that there is always something to do in the evenings.
Both U-Bahn lines, U6 and U9, depart from U-Bahnhof Leopoldplatz (a 2-minute walk), while the S-Bahn ring lines S41 and S42 leave from S-Bahnhof Wedding (a 10-minute walk), allowing you to reach every part of Berlin within a maximum of 30 to 45 minutes.

To proceed with the check-in, we must receive the security deposit (which is 1 month’s rent + €200) and the first month’s rent in our bank account before your check-in date.
Only once both payments have been received, we will be able to hand over the keys and allow you to move into the room.
Please note that our rental contracts are for 12 months, with a minimum stay of 3 months and a 1-month notice period for cancellation.

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?We totally understand that sharing costs can be helpful! However, our current policy does not allow splitting rent with a partner or friend. If you have any other questions or need assistance, we're here to help!

Is there a designated space for work?Yes, we have a cozy coworking space available from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It's a great spot to focus, work comfortably, and meet others.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?You'll be sharing the home with a vibrant mix of students and young professionals, all under the age of 40. It's a great opportunity to connect and share experiences with like-minded people!

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.

- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

Can I extend or shorten my stay?Absolutely! You can extend or shorten your stay with us. We just ask for a 1-month notice for cancellations. If you love your room, you're welcome to renew your stay for a second consecutive year, but for a third year, we’ll help you find a different room to keep things fresh!

Do I need to sign a contract/lease?Yes, we do require a contract to ensure a smooth stay for everyone. Our standard lease is for 12 months, but we do have a minimum stay of just 3 months, which allows for some flexibility!

When/how will you refund my security deposit?The security deposit will be returned two months after the end of your stay. We will inspect the room for any excessive damage that may affect the deposit refund. Normal wear and tear are, of course, expected.

Can I cancel a booking?You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the cancellation policy must be respected.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs subject to availability.
