What if the place is not as advertised?

You have 24hrs to let us know if everything is okay. If you think you’ve been missold to, or the listing was significantly different to what you got, we’ll help you find somewhere else to live, or refund your money.
What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?

You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.
Will I get the same room as on the photos?

The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.
My booking has been accepted, now what?

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.
Can I tour the property first?

You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

Can I cancel a booking?

You may cancel with no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.
Do I need to sign a contract/lease?

It’s enough that you accept our Residents Terms.

Our target audience are remote workers. Most of them are digital nomads.
Will I have privacy?

Yes, however, it depends on your room type. If you have a private room you will have privacy, but if you are in a shared room, there is less privacy.
Is there a designated space for work?

Yes! We have a shared common room and two coworking locations.
Are pets allowed?

No. No pets allowed.
Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?

Yes. You can split the rent with an additional fee based on your length of stay.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated check-in time or stay past the check-out time?

You are allowed to check-in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.
If you wish to check out late, you are free to use our communal areas.
Can I extend or shorten my stay?

Feel free to extend your stay if there's availability. Please note that if you decide to extend, you might need to switch to a different room if your current one has been booked by another guest. If you change your booking to a shorter duration within two weeks of arrival, you will need to pay for the canceled days.
Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?

Yes, please contact our team about your specific situation.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?

Yes, you can have visitors.
Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?

Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly.
Is it possible to request a change of room or apartment if I am not satisfied with the current one?

Yes. If you downgrade your room after booking, Nomadico reserves the right to charge the same price paid for the previous room category. This charge will be equivalent to the original booking amount. If you wish to upgrade your room, you may do so at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Our restaurant provides a fusion of Italian and Sri Lankan cuisines, along with room service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, available at an additional charge.
What are the laundry options?

We offer a washer and dryer in Caobo or you can go to a local laundry cafe.
What types of shared spaces are there?

We have a shared common room with a kitchenette, table, and bathroom.
Do you have storage space for my stuff/luggage?

Yes. All rooms have closets and storage areas.

Are there any good restaurants nearby?
