The tiny village of Nuño Gómez
Our campus is beautifully situated at the foot of the Sierra de San Vicente, just about an hour from Madrid and 45 minutes from Toledo. The surrounding mountains provide the perfect backdrop for hiking, cycling, or simply soaking in the natural beauty.
In the nearby village of Nuño Gómez, you’ll find a range of sports facilities, including a football field, a padel court, and a public swimming pool, which our guests can access for free. The village also boasts a small supermarket and plenty of scenic nature spots.
For more extensive amenities, the town of Talavera de la Reina is only 20 minutes away, offering everything you might need during your stay.
A short distance away, you’ll discover a large lake ideal for swimming and sailing. If you’re up for a bit of an adventure, you can go hiking in the snow or visit the stunning Barrancas de Burujón near Toledo.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

What information do I need to supply for the application?Just the usual information, name, address, etc. And additional some ID information like ID-number that we have to pass on to the local authorities.

What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?You are allowed to move in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.
If you wish to move out late, you are free to use our communal areas. -
Can I extend or shorten my stay?Sure - if there is no other booking we are happy to extend your stay.

Is there a Credit Score required?We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?Security deposit is typically returned shortly after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected.

Can I cancel a booking?You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the cancellation policy must be respected.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs subject to availability.

What if the place is not as advertised?If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?Guests are allowed in the visiting area. Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions.

Are kids allowed?As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.

Are service and emotional support animals allowed?Yes, pets are welcome.

Is it possible to request a change of room or apartment if I am not satisfied with the current one?Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee.

Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?To keep our environment clean and healthy, we ask that you refrain from smoking indoors, including private rooms, common areas, hallways, and balconies. If you do wish to smoke, please do so outside, away from the building entrance, and kindly dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Thank you for helping us maintain a pleasant space for everyone!

Can I receive post/mail to the property?Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.

What are the quiet hours?On the weekday, quiet hours are from 11 pm to 8 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.

What is the policy on alcohol?It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.

What potential costs are there besides the rent?We recommend that you have renters insurance. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own.

Are all rooms furnished?The common areas come fully furnished.
Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential.
You can add/remove any furniture (including the hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy. -
Any meals/snacks included?No. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience. -
Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?Entire and deep cleaning is carried out every week, including linen and towel changes.
We would expect and appreciate it that you clean up after yourself if you make any excessive mess. -
What are the laundry options?We have laundry machines available to everyone.

Is there a kitchen where I can cook my own food?Each cabin has it's own kitchen. Additionally you have access to our community kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
We ask that you clean up any mess you make during and after food preparation. -
Can I work in the communal area?You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirements for the day.

Do I have to clean the room when I move out?No need to worry! Our team takes care of all the cleaning before the next resident arrives, ensuring a fresh and welcoming space for everyone.

Are the communal areas cleaned frequently?Yes, our communal areas are cleaned weekly to maintain a fresh and inviting space, while bedrooms are taken care of every other week to ensure your area stays comfortable.

Is there a house/community manager?Yes. Marta is our community manager is responsible for maintaining a good atmosphere in the house and the well-being of the members.

What are the nationalities of the other residents?We welcome people from everywhere, but mostly have people from within the EU.

What is the average length of stay?Most people are staying with us for a while. Between 1 to 2 months on average.

Are my belongings safe?Even though we have been lucky that nothing has gone missing, we recommend all our members to keep their valuable belongings in their rooms. For extra precaution, buy a Renters Insurance in case of lost items and accidents. Additionally every cabin has a vault.

Does the building have security? What is done to make me feel safe?We have a few cameras. Additionally the terrain is surrounded by a fence.

Is the neighborhood safe?Our coliving home is in a perfectly safe neighborhood where you can walk by yourself in the evening without any problem. Our biggest neighbor is the nature!
