Known as the “Sunshine City,” St. Petersburg sits on the Tampa Bay on the Gulf side of Florida. The beautiful town and lower cost of living provide a lovely coliving opportunity.
The most beautiful sight in town (aside from the beach) is the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. If you’re into art, check out the many galleries, including the Salvador Dali Museum. The Saturday morning market is a great way to start the day with shops, food, and street performances. There are tons of outdoor activities, including fishing, boating, and paddleboarding. Try paddleboard yoga or kitesurfing if you want something more exciting or challenging!
The food here is excellent, and many restaurants offer plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. For carnivores, there's plenty of great BBQ to enjoy, especially at the city’s Ribfest. Like many growing cities, there’s no shortage of locally-made beers and coffee roasters. Some classic Floridian foods include conch fritters, fried gator, and key-lime pie.
The weather in St. Petersburg is pleasant, with temperatures between 54 and 90 degrees throughout the year. With a staggering 361 days of sunshine every year, it’s no surprise that remote workers are eager to find a coliving space here.

Getting around the city is accessible without a car. The city is also quite pedestrian-friendly and has a bike-share program. There’s even a company that offers free rides around the beach area - just be sure to give a tip!
