Room8 was founded by 2 young guys who stumbled upon the idea of hassle-free flexible room rental during their 1-year stay in Shanghai in 2016.
With their relevant backgrounds in real estate, the two founders decided to put their ideas into action and started Room8 in May 2019.
Room8 started off as an experiment initially but has grown to manage over 30 rooms in less than a year. Room8 has provided a cozy and affordable home for many young professionals, ranging from MBA students to employees from Shopee, Apple & Google.
