The entrance to the community, the apartment, and the room have automatic card access locks that allow the tenant to have his/her privacy even if he/she is in a shared apartment.
Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in Coliving apartments (shared flat) but we are pet friendly in Private Apartments.
Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?

Couples are not allowed in the Coliving apartments (shared flats). If you're renting a Private Apartment with a friend, rent cannot be split as the monthly rent needs to be paid entirely.
Is there a designated space for work?

We have a Coworking space in our Monumental Community
What types of people will I be sharing the home with?

Your roommates will be students or professionals around the same age with similar interests.
Will I get the same room as on the photos?

The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.
Can I tour the property first?

You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

Financial solvency is important as well. Our evaluation process aims to foster a harmonious and fulfilling coliving experience for all residents.
Is there a Credit Score required?

While we don't have a specific credit score requirement, we recommend that your monthly rent not exceed 40% of your income. This guideline helps ensure that you can comfortably manage your living expenses while maintaining financial security. We believe in promoting a healthy balance between your income and housing costs, allowing you to fully enjoy your experience without financial strain.
When/how will you refund my security deposit?

We understand that the security deposit is an important aspect of your living experience. Rest assured, we aim to process the refund in a timely manner. Typically, security deposits are returned within 30 days from the date of your departure, provided that everything is in order after the inspection of the premises. Our team will carefully assess the condition of the space to ensure there are no damages or outstanding charges. If everything checks out, we will promptly refund your security deposit. Can I cancel a booking?

You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the cancellation policy must be respected.

You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs subject to availability.

If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?

Visitors are allowed, both during the day and at night, as long as it doesn't inconvenience your roommates. We kindly ask that visitors stay no more than 7 nights per month to maintain the integrity of the coliving experience. Open communication with your roommates and our team is encouraged if you need to make any special arrangements.
Are kids allowed?

No, they are not allowed.

Is it possible to request a change of room or apartment if I am not satisfied with the current one?

Absolutely! If you're not satisfied with your current room, we have an internal room change request program for our residents. However, please note that there is a transfer fee of 100€ to cover operational costs associated with the change. Our team will be happy to assist you with the process and provide more information.
Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?
