About Cactus Coliving

Cactus coliving is at Tenerife the “Island of Eternal Spring” which guarantees 320 sunny days. We renovated one of the oldest house at the south of Tenerife, it once was a cereals mill, a hostel and a dance hall. The house has 7 rooms; 2 shared rooms, 3 double rooms and 1 premium double room. In addition, a large coworking with 14 workspaces, 2 meeting rooms, 2 courtyards, a garden, a winecellar, among others.

Our core value is to bring people together by building a friendly community. We offer a wide variety of activities like daily yoga, family dinners, hikes and workshops so cactus colivers have the chance to share experiences, interests, values and create bonds.

I had a great time at my coliving! Every day there were planned activities and things to do, from yoga sessions to exploring the island. The team makes sure you don't get bored. The compound itself is amazing. Two different co-working spaces (one with talking allowed and one for complete silence and focus), many small spots to sit and work or chat, and a beautiful garden and rooftop terrace.

My stay at the coliving in La Gomera was really pleasant and different from what I expected. Getting there was easy, and the house is very cozy, well-equipped, and comfortable. My room was spacious, bright, with a balcony and areas both to relax and work quietly.

What I liked the most was the community. From the beginning, I felt welcomed, largely thanks to the Community Manager, who ensures that we all feel comfortable. I met people from different parts of the world and we shared activities like sunset yoga, excursions around the island, impromptu dinners, and talks under the stars.

La Gomera itself is beautiful, with tranquil beaches and incredible skies that make the nights special. Being at the coliving allowed me to enjoy it more closely, with a warm atmosphere and friendships that arise naturally.

In summary, it is a place I recommend if you are looking for an authentic experience, good energy, and to meet people while enjoying the island.

💛 I will definitely return with my eyes closed. It has been magical ✨

I had a wonderful stay at the coliving. The house and rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged to make you feel right at home. The owner is a true professional, organized, attentive, and genuinely cares about the experience of every guest.

What really sets this place apart is the sense of community. Regular activities are organized, creating the perfect environment to connect with like-minded people while still enjoying your personal space when needed.

Great value for money and an ideal place for remote workers or anyone looking for a comfortable and inspiring place to stay in Tenerife. Highly recommended!

This coliving is incredible; I spent some of the best days of my life here. Additionally, the location is amazing, just 5 minutes from the beach.
The house is great; it is kept very clean and organized. Everything is well thought out with common spaces to work efficiently or to relax.

There was something that was truly special for me and adds extra value: the community manager and the volunteers create an environment filled with good energy to start each day giving our best and with joy.

I have to say that they really put in a lot of effort; every day there was an optional activity (or several) to share with the other colivers: yoga (I'm not very good, but I tried), shared dinners (I had never tried Slovak food, and I loved it), and they also allow us to share our skills with each other, as well as sporting options like hiking to explore the area. I loved this way of sharing time and getting to know the rest of the guys who formed this little family.

I am already looking forward to returning. I highly recommend it, whether for remote work or to connect with other digital nomads. And of course, take advantage of everything the place and the people offer because you will be different when you leave!

I stayed at the coliving for 5 weeks and it was a wonderful experience. I met so many lovely people - open, friendly, supportive. The community manager is doing a fantastic job. Amongst many things that I really appreciated was the opportunity to learn more about the culture and being welcome to participate in local events (although whoever didn’t fancy that could opt out without any problem). I was able to focus and concentrate on my work very well. Oh, and please continue with the yoga classes! For me, that was perfect to recharge. Thank you for everything - I have just booked my next stay at the coliving and can't wait! :-)

I stayed at a coliving space for 2.5 months. It was my first time at a coliving space, and my first time in La Gomera. I believe coming here was the best decision I could have made as a digital nomad.

While I could go on and rant about how amazing the coliving space is with its cozy patio, spacious kitchen, comfy couches, and the hammock I’ve taken way too many naps in… the one thing that makes this place special is the people.

Something about this place invites people to come together and build relationships like no place I’ve been before. It sucks you in and makes you never want to leave (one of the friends I made here loves this place so much that he extended his stay 4 times, and even returned a week later after he left!).

For some, it may take some time to get used to, though this place has everything you need. The coworking space has spacious desks, high-speed and reliable wifi, and monitors… although the chairs are ever so slightly uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could imagine. The rooms are great; beds are EXTREMELY comfortable, they provide you with beach towels and branded tote bags, and have cleaners to wash the sheets and clean the rooms once a week. Laundry services are also available.

The staff is extremely responsive as well. There is always a volunteer on-site to handle day-to-day items and make sure the place is always clean and organized. The main contact is always responsive and proactive to any issues that may come up, and will often check in to make you feel welcomed. If you’re lucky, she’ll also come by to prepare a delicious family dinner!

For any digital nomad out there looking for a more meaningful stay beyond just room and board, I HIGHLY recommend giving this place a chance. I’m sure you’ll find your new family here just as I did. It’s the best home base to experience life on this beautiful island.

After ten weeks as a digital nomad and my sixth coliving experience, I can confidently say that this coliving is a true gem for those seeking an authentic and friendly experience.

💡 A coliving true to its identity: From the moment I arrived, I found the same warm, well-organized, and perfectly maintained atmosphere as showcased on social media.

📍 An ideal location: The coliving is within walking distance of all daily necessities (supermarket, local market, butcher, restaurants). To explore the island on weekends, a car is necessary, but it’s a great opportunity to discover hidden gems off the beaten path.

🌿 Away from mass tourism: A preserved environment that allows for deep immersion with the island’s locals and the chance to meet inspiring people. A particularly special moment was experiencing Romera in May.

A well-thought-out space: The house is spacious, with numerous rooms offering privacy when needed. The coworking space is functional and the internet connection is excellent—perfect for uninterrupted work.

🤝 A lively community: Plenty of activities bring people together—family dinners, hiking, surfing, and much more, creating strong bonds between colivers.

If you’re looking for a well-organized, clean, and true-to-its-identity coliving, this coliving is the perfect place for a memorable digital nomad experience 🌎🏡

Coliving is one of the best places I’ve stayed as a remote worker.

My private room was bright, clean, and cozy with its own desk, so I could work even from there. The house has fast Wi-Fi, multiple coworking areas (indoor and outdoor), and a beautiful garden to take breaks.

What really stands out is the community vibe. You’re welcomed like family, there are weekly dinners, group activities, and workshops that actually help you connect. It’s social, but never too much.

I left focused, inspired, and already thinking about coming back.

The place is amazing and lets you meet new people while working remotely. The way it’s organized with community activities and living together in an inclusive way creates a unique environment for meeting people, and the house is fully equipped with everything you need, including working space and a nice rooftop. On Tuesdays, there’s a mutual dinner, and throughout the week, there are activities such as amazing hikes and things like volleyball and wine tasting. It’s also relatively quick and easy to take the bus to places like Los Cristianos and El Medano. The team is nice and well organized; it’s a warm and relaxed environment. I didn’t think it would be as great as it was!
