Somewhere Different

I absolutely loved my stay here! The cozy environment and the dedication of the hosts to creating a cool atmosphere were amazing. The community vibe was fantastic, with people often cooking together, going on trekking trips, and working from the coliving rooms. The location itself added to the unique experience, offering plenty of character and fun activities every weekend. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my comfort. The coliving atmosphere and coworking facilities were excellent. They even took us on a walking tour of beautiful nearby places, which I greatly appreciated. Met amazing people from around the world and had lots of laughs. Can't recommend this place enough!

I have no idea what that previous poster is on about, bc this is the best coliving experience I've had.
I'm one of the guests, and Duncan, the owner, questioned my sister and I care about the kind of work we do.
I'm a copywriter for a large national ad agency in the US, working a flexible schedule, while my sister works 40 or more US West Coast time zone hours for a large California real estate investment company. I've been traveling full-time since 2015, so I've experienced a great many different types of lodging as I've worked my way around the world.
The common working area here is wonderful. Lots of desks, each with a comfy chair, power outlets and lamp. Lovely vintage furniture with lots of light from huge bay windows. It has been an absolute joy to work in.
The beautifully renovated kitchen had more than enough space in both refrigerators and cupboards for the six bags of groceries we have delivered by Ocado every week. And 8 stove burners plus a sandwich maker, rice pot, and other appliances make it better than most kitchens in apartments I rent for myself.
The bed in our large room was so comfortable, I slept great every night. There were two desks, so my sister and I could work there if we wanted. More closet and drawer space than we needed. Never a problem with the bathrooms and they were always clean, just like the rest of the house.
There was a truly interesting eclectic group of smart, entertaining people there when we were, all of whom we thoroughly enjoyed socializing with when we weren't working. Group dinners were particularly fun, as you can see in the photos.
Duncan has created a lovely, comfortable, and efficient place to work. The location is within walking distance of anywhere you'd need or want to go. He picked us up at the coach station when it never even occurred to us to ask him.
Not only did I enjoy talking with him about all manner of things whenever we both happened to be in the kitchen at the same time, but I appreciated the way he tries to make sure everything is working as it should and everyone has what they needed. In, you get far more than what you pay for here.

Had a fantastic stay at this place and made memories I will never forget. The host, Duncan created such a relaxed atmosphere and all the guests got involved in shared cooking, games nights, and other activities.
There's a really positive communal vibe to the place that's missing from a lot of coliving experiences. It's a true work hard, play hard energy for people to graft, network and meet interesting remote workers.
The kitchen and co-working rooms were perfect and it's only 2 mins to the beach.
Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a unique coliving experience.

Nice place to stay, a good location, fast internet, and a great group of people. Would definitely recommend and I will probably be back at some point soon.

Great place to live and work. Friendly atmosphere. Within two minutes walk of the beach and everything else Blackpool has to offer.

There is not just one word to say about this place. The 1 n half month of my first digital nomad experience has been wonderful. I am glad that I have decided to come and spend my time here. There are weekend walks and weekly “country” special dinners. My time here was amazing.
