Will I have privacy?In our private rooms, you will have 100% privacy.
In our shared dorms, we do our best to provide the most privacy possible. All our beds have curtains that can be closed completely. You will also have your own light, plug, shelf, and hanger inside your pod. All the shared dorms have a private bathroom inside the room, but we also have other bathrooms and showers outside the rooms, which provide a bit more privacy.
Residents are to share the furnished common areas respectfully. -
Are pets allowed?Although we love all pets, we might have members with potential allergies, so, unfortunately, we can’t allow people to bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home.

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?We do allow couples and friends to stay in our private rooms, which have a maximum occupancy of 2 people and can have either 1 Queen Bed or 2 single beds.

Is there a designated space for work?Yes, we have working stations and a TV room that is also used for private online meetings. Also, you have plenty of flexible workspace options all through the property to suit your mood and your requirements for the day.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?We are a coliving and a hostel at the same time, so expect to meet other fellow digital nomads, but also backpackers and all sort of travelers.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?You are allowed to check in earlier if the room is ready, and you are allowed to use all of our common areas while you wait. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.
If you wish to check out late, you are free to use our communal areas and leave your bags at reception. -
Can I cancel a booking?You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the cancellation policy must be respected.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs subject to availability.

What if the place is not as advertised?If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?Guests are allowed in the visiting area, but NOT in the bedrooms. They need to stop by the reception to sign in before going into the property.
Strictly no guests overnight; they need to leave the property before 10 p.m.
Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions. -
Is it possible to request a change of room or apartment if I am not satisfied with the current one?Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee.

Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building except the rooftop. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke in the street, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance and room windows, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly.

Can I receive post/mail to the property?Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.

What are the quiet hours?Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 10 am. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.

What is the policy on alcohol?It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.

What potential costs are there besides the rent?We recommend that you have renter's insurance. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own.
Parking nearby can also be an additional cost. -
Any meals/snacks included?No. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience. -
Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?Entire and deep cleaning is carried out every week, including linen and towel changes.
We would expect and appreciate it that you clean up after yourself if you make any excessive mess. -
What are the laundry options?We offer a laundry service available to everyone for 10€.

How far is it to the nearest airport?From Malaga Airport to Estepona, it's around 80km, there are direct buses all day straight from the airport to Estepona´s bus station. The trip takes about 1 hour and is quite easy.
