We are located in a Tico neighborhood latched between the jungle and farmland. There are domesticated and wild animals all around us. You'll hear dogs bark, roosters, jays and crows at all hours. If you're a light sleeper and not used to noise, ear plugs and/or headsets are a good idea.

Will I have privacy?All residents have a bedroom within the home for more privacy. Residents are to share the furnished common areas respectfully. The most common feedback received from guests is that we have the ability to strike the right balance between privacy and communal living.

Are pets allowed?With 1.5 acres of land on the property, our property is heaven for your furry friends. However, you need to be aware that there are many roaming pets in and around the property. Some are domesticated, and some are feral. It's probably a good idea to bring your leash and to keep your eye on them at all times.

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?We do allow couples and friends to stay in our bigger rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort.

Is there a designated space for work?You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirements for the day.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?The typical resident is a postgraduate digital nomad or remote worker, whether salaried or self-employed. We're into clean living, health and wellness, and super bonus if you're a surfer and/or a yogi!

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:

My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?You are allowed to check-in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.
If you wish to check out late, you are free to use our communal areas. -
Do you accept co-signers?We gladly accept co-signers for applicants with limited credit history or income.

Is there a Credit Score required?We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?Security deposit is typically returned shortly after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected.

Can I cancel a booking?You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the cancellation policy must be respected.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs subject to availability.

What if the place is not as advertised?If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?Guests are allowed in the visiting area but NOT in the bedrooms. Strictly no guests overnight.
Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions. -
What is the policy on alcohol?It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.

How many people will be living here during my stay?There are a total of 6 bedrooms each with a queen bed. There could be up to 12 people, but on average it's 6 to 8 people living on premises at once.

Is there a house/community manager?Yes. The community manager is responsible for maintaining a good atmosphere in the house and the well-being of the members.
