We are located in a Tico neighborhood latched between the jungle and farmland. There are domesticated and wild animals all around us. You'll hear dogs bark, roosters, jays and crows at all hours. If you're a light sleeper and not used to noise, ear plugs and/or headsets are a good idea.

  • All residents have a bedroom within the home for more privacy. Residents are to share the furnished common areas respectfully. The most common feedback received from guests is that we have the ability to strike the right balance between privacy and communal living.
  • With 1.5 acres of land on the property, our property is heaven for your furry friends. However, you need to be aware that there are many roaming pets in and around the property. Some are domesticated, and some are feral. It's probably a good idea to bring your leash and to keep your eye on them at all times.
  • We do allow couples and friends to stay in our bigger rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort.
    Please note that additional charges do apply.
  • You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirements for the day.
  • The typical resident is a postgraduate digital nomad or remote worker, whether salaried or self-employed. We're into clean living, health and wellness, and super bonus if you're a surfer and/or a yogi!
  • The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.
  • You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
    - Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
    - Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
    - If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
    - Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.
    - If the property substantially differ from what is advertiser, you report it to us and we will help you find another place.
  • Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

  • We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people.
  • You are allowed to check-in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.
    If you wish to check out late, you are free to use our communal areas.
  • We gladly accept co-signers for applicants with limited credit history or income.
  • We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.
  • Security deposit is typically returned shortly after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected.
  • You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the cancellation policy must be respected.
  • You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs subject to availability.
  • If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.

  • Guests are allowed in the visiting area but NOT in the bedrooms. Strictly no guests overnight.
    Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions.
  • As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.
  • Pets are more than welcome on premises, so long as they are trained and well behaved. There is an extra fee to bring your pets. They are allowed in your room, but it is strictly prohibited to allow them on the bed or any other furniture on the property.
  • Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee.
  • To keep our environment clean and healthy, we ask that you refrain from smoking indoors, including private rooms, common areas, hallways, and balconies. If you do wish to smoke, please do so outside, away from the building entrance, and kindly dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Thank you for helping us maintain a pleasant space for everyone!
  • Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.
  • On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.
  • It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.

  • There are a total of 6 bedrooms each with a queen bed. There could be up to 12 people, but on average it's 6 to 8 people living on premises at once.
