Overall Experience
I stayed here for 5 days and overall had a good experience.
For around 100 CHF, the price was fair.
Room & Comfort
The room smelled quite strongly of sweat during the first two days (likely due to other guests), but it improved afterwards and was fine for the rest of my stay.
The beds have privacy curtains, which I really liked.
Cleanliness
The room was cleaned, and the toilets were cleaned multiple times—this was excellent.
The only minor issue was the shower faucet and shower head, which should be replaced at some point (it’s not an expensive fix), but everything else was fine. The bathroom door lock (the turning mechanism) could use a repair, as it’s not working and you need to close the door mechanically.
Facilities
There’s a chill area and a large table for about 10 people, great for meals. The shared kitchen and fridge are a big plus. I didn’t cook myself but saw others using it and would definitely use it next time. There’s also a snack machine in the lounge.
Location
The location is very good—everything is nearby, and it feels a bit like being at home. There’s also a small supermarket just around the corner, which is very convenient.
Staff & Service
The staff were helpful, and check-in was smooth.
Questions were answered as best as possible.
Extras
You can wash your clothes on-site for about €12, which is useful for longer stays. Towels and padlocks can also be rented.
Conclusion
Overall, aside from the initial smell (which isn’t really the staff’s fault), it was a positive stay.
I would definitely stay here again if I return to Barcelona.
