About Selina

We provide guests with beautiful places to stay, travel, and work abroad indefinitely.
Plus, we use our in-depth local knowledge to create thousands of authentic activities and experiences in over 60 destinations worldwide.
From the heart of urban cities to the depth of the Amazon Jungle, we put our heart, soul, and wanderlust into providing forever-travelers, break-takers, and staycaters with a new and exciting way to explore the world.

In 2007 our co-founders Rafael Museri and Daniel Rudasevski were living in Pedasí, a small fishing town in Panama. Through running real estate projects and developing the town, they began to build a tight-knit social circle comprised of locals and travelers alike. It became clear to them that they were working on something special, and just like that, the first Selina was born in Venao, a surf town near Pedasí in 2014.
Since then, we have grown and is still growing at the rate of a new location per week. That’s our proof that dreams really do come true.

This place offers hip and thorough accommodations that allow you to access the nearby area in comfort and convenience. The tours they offer are well managed and thorough while the breakfast is excellent. I came during the off-season so it was mostly empty but it has the potential given its atmosphere for meeting other like-minded travelers. It also has immense potential as a coliving space with affordable private rooms and ubiquitous WiFi. It's the best option in the area and I recommend it!

Beautiful place, but a little something is off. The staff seems mostly unbothered, sometimes rude as the other comments mentioned. I got charged 85brl to do laundry. Paid 140brl for a week at the co-working which was almost always too full and without AC. Like little things when you feel scammed or always sur-charged. But the place is beautiful so I can’t complain.

Breakfast is very limited, fairly unhealthy. I was charged 50c for asking for milk. Not sure why this is called a co work as there are no working facilities. Kitchen is extremely limited (no glasses) and not the cleanest.

Spent a month at this place working remotely from the workspace. The building is absolutely stunning, the standard rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious (make sure to ask for a room overlooking the river).
There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance and proximity to the riverwalk makes the location perfect.
The coliving space is not too big but comfortable with great chairs and desks, wifi was reliable.
As for the nightlife, locals (mostly students from Cuenca Uni) usually go out on Thursday till Saturday - the rest of the week is pretty quiet.
I also recommend visiting the terrace for some traditional dishes, drinks, and music - the staff goes above and beyond.

It was awesome to be in Sao Paulo, a very diverse environment for remote workers. I had a wonderful time with people from Israel Pakistan, and Switzerland would recommend this place to every person... !!!

I loved staying there. The staff is kind, the facilities are terrific as well. The location is perfect, close to the city center, nice bars, restaurants, excellent coliving space and wifi connection.
If you don't mind the noise, it is the perfect place. The music didn't bother me as I found the volume quite reasonable even at night.

Best location in all of Sao Paulo. Super nice coliving, a clean and posh place with a big and well equipped kitchen. I will come back for sure!

Had a fantastic time here with my best friend! Private rooms are very nice and affordable, the coliving space is amazing, the food is fantastic and the rooftop bar is really fun and vibrant. Will come back pretty soon!

Overall, a good stopover spot! At times a little disorganized when it came to activities (sometimes planned or advertised activities would not happen), and depending on what kind of questions you had staff could not assist or answer you. Staff was generally very friendly, but also the Selina computer system was terrible for keeping track. Numerous friends had issues with the system showing the wrong room booked, or had to move rooms. When I checked out the staff insisted I hadn't paid for my stay until I provided bank records and receipt. Expect issues upon check-in and always get receipts and everything in writing.

+ rooms okay, staff Amazing, kitchen ok, a great feeling of security, awesome facilities (cinema, rooftop bar, great breakfast, library,...)
- locks have to be bought not rented, location in Lapa great for party but not very safe, terrible wifi (often no wifi at all!!), intense party location (great for parties, but always loud and crowded), way too few toilets
