Make yourself comfortable in our brand-new residence, ideally located in the Angevin district of Lafayette, just a few steps from the city center, public transport (tram and bus), and shops. The large biweekly market on Place Lafayette is an 8-minute walk away.
Our co-living space is ideally located, just a few minutes' walk from shops and public transport (bus and metro). It offers 10 independent rooms, fully furnished and tastefully decorated, each with a private bathroom.
The 240m² house, renovated in 2024, provides a wonderful living environment. It features a large garden with a terrace, barbecue, and garden shed, as well as numerous spacious and carefully furnished common areas.
Amenities include:
- Magnificent living/dining room.
- Large, fully equipped kitchen (all appliances are doubled).
- Gym with fitness/bodybuilding machines.
- Garden with BBQ and garden furniture.
- Laundry room (2 washing machines and 2 dryers).

Each of the 10 bedrooms includes a private bathroom for more comfort and privacy. You will find a furnished sleeping area (double bed, mattress, duvet, pillows), a desk, and a dressing room. The bathroom consists of a shower with a glass wall, a vanity unit, a WC, and a towel dryer.
The rent is all-inclusive and includes many services:

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?We usually don't accept more than one person per room.

Is there a designated space for work?You will find a desk in your room for you to be able to work as much as you want ! There is also a working space in this house.

Will I have privacy?All residents have a bedroom within the home for more privacy.
Residents are to share the furnished common areas respectfully. -
Are pets allowed?Although we love all pets, we might have members with potential allergies, so, unfortunately, we can’t allow people to bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?The profiles are usually young working people, but there is also a small part of students and older people. Enough to create a superb community!

What information do I need to supply for the application?We ask several documents as :
• Your identity card.
• A copy of your work contract or your school certificate.
• Your last 3 rent receipts.
• Your last 3 pay slips or a proof of income.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated check-in time or stay past the check-out time?You are allowed to check-in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.

Do you accept co-signers?We usually don't accept more than one person per room. So, it's a no.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?Security deposit is typically returned shortly after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected.
We have an allowed period of one month if there are no problems, and two months if we have to take something from your deposit. -

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?We authorize the visit of guests for a maximum duration of 5 nights, as long as it does not disturb the other roommates.

Are kids allowed?As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.

Are service and emotional support animals allowed?We do not accept pets.
By law, we allow service dogs. Our staff is allowed to ask two questions to determine what service the animal provides if it's not obvious:
1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and
2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
We define service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs and pets whose sole function is only to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and will not be allowed.

Is it possible to request a change of room or apartment if I am not satisfied with the current one?Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning and changing fee.

Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly.

Can I receive post/mail to the property?Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.

What are the quiet hours?On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.

What is the policy on alcohol?It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.

What potential costs are there besides the rent?The rent is all inclusive so you don't have anything else to pay for the accomodation. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own.

Are all rooms furnished?The common areas come fully furnished.
Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential.
You can add/remove any furniture (including the hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy. -
Any meals/snacks included?No, but you have a kitchen that you can use at any time to prepare your meals.
There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience.

Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?As the bedrooms are locked, the cleaning agent is not able to clean your room. You will have to do it yourself.

Are my belongings safe?Even though we have been lucky that nothing has gone missing, we recommend all our members to keep their valuable belongings in their rooms. For extra precaution, buy a Renters Insurance in case of lost items and accidents.

Can I lock my bedroom door?Each room has an electronic lock that you can open either with a code you choose when checking in or with a badge.

Is the neighborhood safe?Our coliving home is in a perfectly safe neighborhood where you can walk by yourself in the evening without any problem.

What public transportation is available?Although our location is ideal if you want to walk or cycle, the metro or bus is just a short distance away. The city of Rennes also provides bicycles throughout the city.

What is there to do in the area?To keep you and your friends entertained, you may visit downtown Rennes, go to the beautiful parks, to the museum... Rennes is not a boring city !
