While moving back from out of state, I needed a place to live while apartment hunting and came across this coliving from a friend's recommendation. I had a wonderful meeting with Yazan where we discussed where I would best fit and be comfortable for the duration of my stay. I stayed in one of their places for about 1 month. It was clean, comfortable and a great experience meeting new people who have now become friends in the city. Definitely recommend and also support their constant efforts to provide safe and LGBTQ friendly lodging, especially as a woman!

I spent one month in this coliving space. The house is cool, there is a great living area and kitchen! The bedrooms are nice too with a lot of light!
The Neighborhood is great with lots of cafés and the blue line is really closed to get a train!
Yazan is a really nice host and reactive if you need anything!

This is a great community and an excellent option for those moving into Chicago with limited connections! I lived at the Armitage location last summer and enjoyed my experience. It is a great opportunity to make friends and make your move into Chicago comfortable. I highly recommend it!

They stand out with a unique, community-driven living experience that exceeded all my expectations. The houses are centrally located with easy access to the blue line as well as to a wide range of restaurants, bars and other services. Management goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome in this amazing community. A great option for young professionals, interns, and students. I would definitely recommend it.

It was taking me forever to find a place in Chicago that wasn't a year-long lease and was furnished. I was about to give up and live in an empty living room with no amenities. They accommodated EVERYTHING I was looking for and topped it all off with an incredibly secure and easy leasing process. Then actually living there was incredible. My own room, closet, bed and desk- amazing. Plenty of kitchen space and bathrooms and the living room was so so nice.

While looking for a place in the city to call home for a short time. On short notice of finding a half-year internship, I promptly applied. Within a couple of days, I signed the lease for what I thought was just a room in an apartment. A few weeks later, I arrived with a car full of my belongings and no familiar faces. Within a week of adapting to the new environment, I was part of a positive and lively community.

I first moved to Chicago for an internship with In These Times magazine out of college. I didn’t know anyone and I had never been to Chicago. I found Sublettinn through craigslist and I signed a lease for 3 months at Francis Place. Little did I know that 3 months would turn in to the best two years of my life. Francis is located in one of the most fun and young neighborhoods of Chicago in Logan Square. Living in Francis for 2 years I made friends for life from all around the world.

Living here after moving to the city was hands-down the best choice I made. The neighborhood location is great and the house is close to the train. They made it easy to make friends and meet people in a new city, and the community at the house was incredible.
The house is well maintained and Edgar is always working hard to make sure the tenants are living in a good space. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have to admit that I was not sure of living in a place with many people, but I decided to try and ended up being a great coliving experience. I met people from different countries, improved my English and laughed a lot. The place offers flexible stays so it is really helpful for people who do not stay long term in Chicago. I lived here about 2 years ago when a hiatus and change of career plans led me to re-evaluate my priorities. They provided me with exactly what I needed at the time: a flexible share house experience with an eclectic, friendly group of people to call friends and family. I had never lived in a dormitory or communal space with a large group of people, and it was definitely a realm worth exploring.
