About Liverpool

Liverpool is a small city pressed up against the waterfront in northern England and it’s a great choice as a coliving destination for many reasons. Liverpool has a cooler climate compared to most other places in the UK, with temperatures ranging from 40ºF to 65ºF on average. Liverpool is home to the most successful soccer club in the entire world, Liverpool FC. This is a rather unique city for digital nomads and has become quite trendy over the years, with the number of remote workers increasing recently.

If Liverpool has never been on your radar then maybe it should be. The city has just less than 500,000 residents but has a vibrant culture and an even more vibrant nightlife, from hidden pubs to world-class pubs and restaurants. You won't have a hard time finding a good place to unwind for the evening or maybe you're looking for a more upbeat night which is easy to find as Liverpool has some great nightclubs. Going to a soccer game is also a must, as most of the residents are die-hard soccer fans who cheer their team on at the home ground of Anfield. “You’ll Never Walk Alone” rings out from the impressive stadium during every home game.

Coliving is relatively cheap in this part of the United Kingdom. There are local buses and trains to get you anywhere you need to go over the city, along with a national railway to take you to most other major cities in the UK. Liverpool is home to Britain's largest port as well. For airports, you have two options, either the local Liverpool airport which is mostly flights with Ryanair or you can opt to take a train over to Manchester International Airport for a larger option in flights.

Fun facts about Liverpool:

- Liverpool’s waterfront is a designated World Heritage Site
- Liverpool has one of the most impressive collections of museums in Europe
- The world’s first passenger railway line was built in 1830, from Liverpool to nearby Manchester
