Welcome to Bela Vista Coliving
Our family-run coliving space is set between Olhão and Fuseta, just 5 minutes from each town and close to the Ecovia Litoral cycling path. With sweeping views across the sea, the Ria Formosa and its islands, this is a home for work, community, and adventure.
Watersports & nature
I’m Sara, your host and a passionate kitesurfer. I can take you to the best local spots depending on the wind. Through our partner brand Bela Maré, we also offer kitesurf rentals, downwinders, kayak and SUP rentals, and guided trips. With calm lagoons and nearby Atlantic beaches, this part of the Algarve is a true playground for watersports.
Beyond the water, nature here is vibrant. Ria Formosa Natural Park is just a stroll away, where you can spot flamingos, chameleons, owls, and many more. Our land is filled with fruit trees — figs, oranges, almonds, grapevines, and even giant lemons — adding to the sense of being surrounded by life and flavour.
Food & culture
Olhão’s famous market, just minutes away, is one of the best in the world for fresh seafood and local produce. The Algarve’s food culture is woven into daily life, and here at Bela Vista we often gather around shared meals. My mother, Margarida, is known for her cooking and homemade cakes, which bring everyone together.

Our property is set in peaceful countryside, just 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike from both Olhão and Fuseta. Faro Airport is only 25 minutes away, making arrivals simple whether you’re driving or cycling in.
We’re close to the sea, with a quiet beach just 15 minutes on foot. The Ecovia Litoral cycling path runs nearby — perfect for cycling, walking, or simply enjoying nature. Along the way, you’ll see flamingo flocks and a wide variety of birdlife in the Ria Formosa.
Olhão is a lively fishing town with a strong cultural heritage. Highlights include its world-famous market — one of the best places in Portugal to try fresh seafood and local produce — and ferries that take you to pristine islands such as Armona and Culatra. Wander the cobbled streets, sample traditional cafés, or enjoy the vibrant nightlife along the waterfront.
At Bela Vista, we help you experience the Algarve beyond the ordinary. Whether it’s surfing, kitesurfing, yoga classes, boat trips, bike rentals, or stand-up paddleboarding, we’re happy to organise activities that let you explore both sea and land to the fullest.

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.
