Come and pack your bags in a sumptuous house located near the city center of Rennes. Ideally located, a few minutes walk from shops and public transport (bus and metro), our Coliving offers 12 independent rooms, fully furnished and tastefully decorated, each with a private bathroom.

In terms of living environment, the 350 m2 house, completely renovated in 2021, has a large garden with a covered terrace and numerous common areas that are spacious, carefully furnished, and decorated: 

• Magnificent living / dining room.
• Large, fully equipped kitchen (all appliances are doubled).
• Gym with fitness/bodybuilding machines.
• Cinema room with video projector and game console.
• Garden with BBQ and garden furniture.
• Laundry room (2 washing machines and 2 dryers).
• Easy parking on the street or in front of the house.

Each of the 12 bedrooms includes a private bathroom for added comfort and privacy. There you will find a furnished sleeping area (double bed, mattress, duvet, pillows), a desk, and a dressing room. The bathroom consists of a shower with a glass wall, a vanity unit, a WC, and a towel dryer.

The rent is ALL INCLUSIVE and cover many services:
Water, electricity, and gas.

Internet connection (fiber).
Home insurance.
Cleaning of common areas every week,upkeep, and maintenance.

The Fougères-Sévigné district is bordered to the north by the Ille and Prairies Saint-Martin, a 30-hectare natural park, and to the south by Thabor Park, a beautiful 10-hectare landscaped area. 
It hosts several higher education establishments, including the Institute of Political Studies and the faculty of law and political science of the University of Rennes 1. 
Families are not forgotten, with the presence of several educational establishments of all levels. 

Bus and metro lines serve the area. There are numerous restaurants and bars in the location, as well as local shops (bakeries, general food stores, hairdressers, etc.). In terms of services, find bank branches and a post office. Around ten doctors and several pharmacies welcome residents of the neighborhood.

  • You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
    - Properties on have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
    - Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
    - If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
    - makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.
    - If the property substantially differ from what is advertiser, you report it to us and we will help you find another place.
  • Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.
  • It’s enough that you accept our Residents Terms.

  • You will find a desk in your room for you to be able to work as much as you want ! There is also a working space in this house.
  • All residents have a bedroom within the home for more privacy.
    Residents are to share the furnished common areas respectfully.
  • Although we love all pets, we might have members with potential allergies, so, unfortunately, we can’t allow people to bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home.
  • The profiles are usually young working people, but there is also a small part of students and older people. Enough to create a superb community!

  • We ask several documents as :

  • We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people.
  • You are allowed to check-in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.
  • We usually don't accept more than one person per room. So, it's a no.
  • Security deposit is typically returned shortly after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected.
    We have an allowed period of one month if there are no problems, and two months if we have to take something from your deposit.
  • Policies
  • We authorize the visit of guests for a maximum duration of 5 nights, as long as it does not disturb the other roommates.
  • As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.
  • We do not accept pets.
    By law, we allow service dogs. Our staff is allowed to ask two questions to determine what service the animal provides if it's not obvious:
    1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and
    2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
    We define service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs and pets whose sole function is only to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and will not be allowed.

  • Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning and changing fee.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly.
  • Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.
  • On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.
  • It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.
  • Amenities
  • The rent is all inclusive so you don't have anything else to pay for the accomodation. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own.
  • The common areas come fully furnished.
    Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential.
    You can add/remove any furniture (including the hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy.
  • No, but you have a kitchen that you can use at any time to prepare your meals.
    There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience.
    NB: every month we invite you to choose a cooking box made by Foodette.
  • As the bedrooms are locked, the cleaning agent is not able to clean your room. You will have to do it yourself.
  • We have laundry machines available to everyone.

  • Yes. We offer additional room cleaning on demand.
  • You have access to a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
    We ask that you clean up any mess you make during and after food preparation.

  • Usually, we recommend that you leave your luggage in your room. Concerning belongings, please keep them in your room as well so as not to clutter the common areas.

  • In every house you will find a huge and bright living / dining area, a kitchen and a laundry. Depending on the houses you will also find specific rooms like a gym or cinema rooms, work spaces, bicycle shelter, etc.

  • Yes. The community manager is responsible for maintaining a good atmosphere in the house and the well-being of the members.

  • Even though we have been lucky that nothing has gone missing, we recommend all our members to keep their valuable belongings in their rooms. For extra precaution, buy a Renters Insurance in case of lost items and accidents.
  • Each room has an electronic lock that you can open either with a code you choose when checking in or with a badge.
  • Our coliving home is in a perfectly safe neighborhood where you can walk by yourself in the evening without any problem.
  • Nearby
  • With just a few minute's walk, you have a selection of good and cheap restaurants.
  • Although our location is ideal if you want to walk or cycle, the metro or bus is just a short distance away. The city of Rennes also provides bicycles throughout the city.
  • To keep you and your friends entertained, you may visit downtown Rennes, go to the beautiful parks, to the museum... Rennes is not a boring city !
