We absolutely love animals! However, pets are not allowed in our community to ensure a clean and healthy environment for everyone, especially those with allergies. Thank you for understanding!
Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?

If you're interested in sharing a suite let us know! Most of our private suites are single occupancy, but some layouts like our studio and Jr. 1bd may be a great fit for two.
Is there a designated space for work?

Absolutely. Many residents work remotely and use their suites for quiet, focused work. Our L Suite and Studio have built in desk. We also offer a rooftop lounge ideal and cafes in the neighborhood that are great for focused worked.
What types of people will I be sharing the home with?

You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:

- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.

- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

What information do I need to supply for the application?

To complete your application and join our vibrant community, we ask for a few key pieces of information. Please provide a government-issued photo ID, proof of income or employment, a completed application, your personal information along with an emergency contact, and your rental history. Depending on your financial situation, we may request a co-applicant or guarantor, and we will also need your consent for a credit and background check. We look forward to welcoming you!
What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?

We evaluate potential renters based on a few friendly criteria to ensure a good fit for our community. We ask for proof of income, a background check for safety, and positive rental history. We welcome international applicants too! Our goal is to create a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.
Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?

Enjoy the convenience of early check-in when your room is ready so you can settle in at your own pace. And if you're in no rush on your departure day, feel free to make the most of our inviting communal spaces.
Can I extend or shorten my stay?

Yes! If you’d like to stay longer, just let us know before your current move-out date. We’ll do our best to extend your lease in the same unit or offer a similar one, depending on availability.

If you need to leave early, we understand. Please provide 30 days’ written notice. Early termination fees may apply depending on your lease agreement.
Do I need to sign a contract/lease?

For stays over 30 days:
A standard lease agreement is required. This outlines the terms of your stay, payment schedule, house rules, and your rights as a resident. It helps protect both you and the community.
Do you accept co-signers?

We gladly accept co-signers for applicants with limited credit history or income.
Is there a Credit Score required?

We understand that not everyone has perfect credit! While we don’t require a flawless score, having a score of around 650 or higher is generally preferred. We are happy to discuss your situation individually!
When/how will you refund my security deposit?

We're happy to let you know that your security deposit will be returned within 21 days of your move-out date, following California state law. If you paid by card or bank transfer, we’ll refund it to your original payment method or via direct deposit. If you paid by check or money order, you'll receive a refund check mailed to your forwarding address.
Can I cancel a booking?

You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the cancellation policy must be respected.
What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?

You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs subject to availability.
What if the place is not as advertised?

If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.

You may consume alcohol in your private suite or in designated common areas like the rooftop lounge or shared kitchen. Open containers are not allowed in hallways, elevators, or outside the building. All residents and guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol, and underage drinking is strictly prohibited. Gatherings involving alcohol should be low-key and non-disruptive; any larger events must be approved by management in advance.
