Arles is a city in southern France on the Rhone River. The city was once a provincial capital of ancient Rome. There are many physical remnants from that era and it entices many workers to experience coliving here.

Many fall in love with Arles and the Roman remnants that the city holds dear to its heart. One of the most visited is the oval arena resembling Rome's Colosseum - the arena was home to gladiators and chariot races. Although you can no longer witness a chariot race, the arena still places a significant role and holds concerts and bullfights.
The Arles Theater is another piece of architecture that is still utilized 2 000 years after its creation. Although not as precise as it looked in back in the day, the theater still represents all its former glory, and to be honest, there is nothing as amazing as experiencing a performance under the starry sky.
Even though van Gogh only spent one year in Arles, some of his most famous work was created here, like the Night Café. With exhibits and walking tours dedicated to van Gogh and his art, it is one of the most popular reasons to visit Arles. It is here where he famous mutilated his own ear.
