I spent a month at a coliving in Norway, and it was exactly what I needed. The location in the west of Norway is beautiful, with plenty of attractions to visit. I had the chance to explore the area on my motorcycle every day, which was amazing.
The atmosphere at the coliving was calm and peaceful, and I felt relaxed and happy throughout my stay. It was the perfect balance of work and personal time, allowing me to enjoy both nature and the quiet environment. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to unwind and explore Norway.
The most precious month of my life. The experience was truly indescribable. From hiking, lake and fjord swimming, kayaking, via Ferrata, gym, bouldering, sauna, yoga, cooking..the month was wholesome and exactly what I needed. Unlike other colivings, the other remote workers stayed at least a month so we built amazing friendships ❤️
I particularly appreciate the community car provided, which allowed us to explore the region further. Thank you for the stay, I hope to be back one day.
I had a wonderful time at the coliving :) The area is simply GORGEOUS! One of the most beautiful places on earth I have ever been to, and I've travelled extensively. I would love to come back here. The internet connection was very fast, and the community was great. I was able to be very productive and also enjoy the surroundings extensively. It was so convenient to share a car with the other colivers and organize day trips, etc. I highly recommend the coliving! Thank you for the great stay!
I simply loved my stay in Bjørkedal, the cosy old villa, the beautiful lake, the impressive mountains, the amazing community. The whole atmosphere is relaxing; to work from there feels like a holiday. The staff is brilliant and cares a lot about the wellbeing of the colivers. There is lots to do and explore in the free time and the weekends. You have to be a nature-lover, of course. And despite having 2 absolutely hot and sunny weeks, there can of course always be a bit of rain and wind. But it's beautiful all the same. I'll definitely come back :-)
Freedom. Nature. Nordics. Outdoors. Adventure. Calm. Rest. Focus.
These are the words that come to mind when I think of Coliving.
Located away in a peaceful corner of Norway, this place is a true hidden gem. An old house full of charm and stories, it offers a rare balance between rest and wildness.
Whether you’re looking to disconnect, find deep rest, or embrace the Nordic outdoors with hikes, lakes, and fresh air — this coliving has something for you.
It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful coliving in the middle of an epic landscape.
Having a lot of POIs to visit every day.
I had a perfect month here with a nice host and a beautiful village! I definitely recommend it :)
Working for two months from here was one of the best experiences of my life. The place is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by nature, forests, waterfalls, wildlife, lakes, and fjords. The house itself is both stunning and comfortable. There are supermarkets and everything you need about 20 minutes away by car, yet you truly feel immersed in a wild, natural area. Last but not least, Anne, the owner, was always attentive and kind, making sure we were well taken care of, which I really appreciated, especially being away from home!
I loved my experience here. It is an old, charming villa, and everyone was just so nice. I had several roommates during my stay of one month, and all of them were great—we had a lot of fun. The surroundings are breathtaking. Be prepared for some rain and fast-changing weather, and just enjoy the wild nature. Thank you, Anne!
is more than a coliving place. I lived there for a month in August, and it transformed my perspective on life in so many ways. Work doesn’t have to be stressful when there’s a window overlooking the lake right next to your desk. Exercise doesn’t have to be hard when the hiking trail starts at your back door, with the inviting smell of wood and moss all around.
The management has managed the place beautifully, providing enough convenience we need—office desks and chairs, a community car, boats, and even a jacuzzi by the lake—while still leaving space for us to interact with others to get things done.
I particularly love the community in the coliving. There are no big parties and no obligation to join community events, yet we wanted to participate because we truly felt part of something created by us, supporting us, and reflective of who we are. It was a truly unforgettable and healing experience.
I highly recommend this coliving to anyone who loves nature and people. Welcome to join us ;)
