I found this place to be great for a long-term stay as well.
The rooms here are beautiful, and the bar is great!
The room was excellent, and the staff was friendly. The bar views are fascinating. I stayed here for a month, and they offer apartments with balconies, which makes staying more comfortable.
We are a couple with a big German Shepherd living in a standard room (approx. 20 sqm, including the bathroom). I'm studying, and my fiancé travels a lot for work, so he isn't here all the time. We've been staying here for about five months, and this feedback is written almost halfway through our stay.
**The Space**
It's very nice and cozy. When checking in, remember the staffed reception is on the 4th floor, where you'll also find the Sky Lounge. The lounge is very welcoming with comfortable couches, a TV with Nintendo (free to use), and a bar offering a good selection of drinks and small dishes. They recently added a student discount, which is great.
They host different events like tree decorating and Taco Tuesdays, but they could promote these a bit more clearly. In the lounge, there's also a workspace, and if you need more quiet, the boardroom is available and free to use. Security checks happen in the evenings, which makes it feel safe.
**Location**
Harburg is very diverse, with a rich mix of cultures. Initially, it can feel overwhelming, but I've found it safe enough to walk around. Nearby, there's a shopping center with a variety of stores and a food court, perfect for days when we don't feel like cooking. Behind the building, there's some noise from a nearby company during the day, but it's barely noticeable with the windows closed.
**The Room**
The room is a good size, cozy with a nice bathroom that includes a shower, soap, and lotion. There's ample closet space with open shelves and a rack to hang clothes. We did add an extra dresser from IKEA for more storage. It has a small kitchen equipped with two stoves, a microwave oven, sink, refrigerator, electric kettle, and basic cutlery.
**Transport**
The location is very convenient, close to Harburg Bhf, making it easy to get anywhere with regional trains, the S-Bahn, and buses. It takes around 15-20 minutes to get to Hamburg Mitte with the S-Bahn.
**Staff**
The staff here is generally very nice and helpful. I've had great interactions with Kai, a sweet and extremely helpful receptionist who my dog loves. The housekeeping staff have been a bit wary of my dog, but it's not been a major issue. Once, there was a miscommunication about cleaning times, but otherwise, it's fine. As long as you respect their space, they'll give you and your dog plenty of room. Overall, the staff is friendly and accommodating.
**Conclusion**
Overall, it's a nice place to stay and is also pet-friendly.
I stayed here for a month and found it to be pleasant and clean. The room was quiet and well-prepared. The location is ideal for trips into the city, as it's close to the train station. Personally, I didn't see any staff, as the check-in and check-out processes were done electronically. My highlight was the Paternoster elevator. It was a lot of fun to use.
I stayed in a coliving space right opposite the Harburg train station. It was conveniently close, within walking distance to the Phoenix Center Harburg shopping complex. The apartment was very clean, and I appreciated the privacy it offered during my stay.
I stayed here over the Easter weekend and found the location to be super central in Hamburg Harburg! The train and S-Bahn stations were within a 2-minute walk, making the infrastructure and connectivity excellent due to its proximity to the center. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to spend a month discovering Hamburg with a toddler in tow. Would love to come back anytime!
The room I stayed in was great and clean. In the morning, the breakfast selection was limited and once items ran out, they were not refilled promptly. However, after pointing out that there were no more rolls, they were freshly baked for us. I did notice some dirty trays and dishes during breakfast, and it seemed the staff were overwhelmed as there was only one person handling the service.
Reaching the parking spots was a bit of a challenge because of a construction site, and it's important to know that the parking area is actually part of the train station, which means a paid parking ticket is required.
All in all, my stay was comfortable but there are areas where improvements could make the experience even better.
I had a delightful stay in Hamburg at this coliving space. Even though I was here for just one night, I'm looking forward to returning for a month. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming - a real feel-good spot!
I recently stayed here for a month and found it to be a beautiful and centrally located spot. The breakfast was okay, though there's room for improvement. One of the interesting features is a working paternoster, which I found quite fascinating. A minor downside was that the bar closes at 10:00 PM, but overall, everything was okay.
