Coliving Spaces in Montenegro

Coliving for Remote workers in Montenegro provides a fresh take on traditional accommodations, skillfully combining communal living benefits with the particular needs of Remote workers...

A southeastern country in Europe, Montenegro is a Balkan country that speaks Serbian, Albanian and Croatian. It is a coastal country with an abundance of natural beauty and wealth, and as such, is a popular place for digital nomads looking for a place to live, work and play.
Clear blue ocean, breathtaking mountains, and beautiful flowers throughout the country in summer, this location is full of sights that you will not find in such clarity anywhere else. It is fast becoming the ultimate tourist destination, but this shouldn’t put you off - it’s beauty is untamed and wild. Whilst the beaches are busy, the mountains, forests and ancient towns are free to be explored.

Coliving has become an important part of staying in Montenegro, with numerous places that offer this to be found throughout the country. The communal aspect of this way of living being so popular here is probably because of the friendly and welcoming nature of the locals. They are typically excellent hosts with charm and grace, and this has not been spoilt by the country’s rise in tourist interest. If you visit, and stay, be prepared to be welcomed warmly, and fed as much food as you can eat.
When you aren’t working, or being fed, there are plenty of things to do. In a country like Montenegro, activities are designed to be done outside, in the stunning weather and sweet-scented breezes. Hiking is a great source of entertainment here, but you can also bike, kayak, or even ride a horse and find yourself a quiet spot.

Despite it’s mostly coastal, rural atmosphere, there are more lively areas - Budva, for example, is known for being a party town, luxurious and buzzing with visitors looking to have fun. However, you will find that the nearby towns are thicker with local history, such as the Ostrog Monastery. There are Turkish and Eastern European influences found in the architecture of some of Montenegro’s palaces and churches, and of course the effect of the Romans can be seen in mosaics and ruins throughout.
Although small, Montenegro is quickly becoming a great area to live and work in a co-living space. It’s charming nature and beautiful, the ideal place to balance work and enjoyment.
