Our members come from across the world - you could have life-long Londoners and someone brand new to the UK all under the same roof. Our homes are curated to reflect the unique qualities of each property, whilst combining this with timeless décor. Created with a balance of bright yet relaxing surroundings, the spaces are designed to let you work from home, socialise, and unwind.We make your life easier by furnishing your home and including all the bills in your monthly rental payment. We generally don’t provide accommodation for students as this coliving company is for young professionals aged between 21-36. However, we do have some members who are PhD, MBA or Master’s students, so please apply if you’re also taking a postgraduate degree!
All our homes are cleaned once every two weeks minimum by our team of housekeepers. The cleans include all of the communal areas, e.g. the hallways, stairs, living room, kitchen and shared bathrooms, as well as any other area which is shared by all members in the home. Our housekeeping includes:
Hoovering and mopping
Cleaning and removing any limescale from sinks, taps and shower heads
Waste management (emptying bins and taking them outside)
General tidying (putting away any items left out, picking things up off the floor)
Cleaning all worktops, islands, other surfaces and seats (stools, chairs and tables)
Running dishwasher and emptying when finished
Cleaning and polishing the fronts of all appliances (microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, cooker, toaster, kettle etc.)
Descaling the kettle if necessary
Checking the salt and rinse aid levels in dishwasher and refilling as necessary
We offer additional room cleaning for any members who would like this service
To opt in for room cleaning, please tell us how often you would like your room cleaned (e.g. fortnightly, monthly, a one-off clean etc.) by emailing your community manager.
Standard room clean = £9
En-suite room clean = £12.50

What consumables won't be there?
We do not provide the following personal items:
Hand-wash (this is for both shared and en-suite bathrooms)
If you have an issue within your home that you would like to report, anything from your Netflix has logged out to having no hot water, the quickest way to reach the maintenance team is through submitting a ticket.
If you feel that you can only express your issue via email however, then do please get in touch with your community manager and Ellie will be more than happy to help.
Currently we don't provide locks on any bedroom doors. This is because:
Our licence : All of our homes are Homes of Multiple Occupancy or HMOs. This means that we have a licences with is managed by the local council where each of our homes are based. By have an HMO we follow a number of strict rules, which include locks on bedroom doors. If we add locks this changes the status of a room which is why we don't provide them
Health and Safety: Emergencies can happen and often by having locks on doors it can cause huge problems in terms of our member welfare. By having no locks this removes this concern for our members.
Community: We are a membership community and we are looking to have an open and welcoming environment. If you are looking to live in a home and stay in your room, then this isn't quite the right place for you. We want to remove any boundaries and we feel that locks are a big part of this.
Renting with us means so much more is included with your monthly rental payments than just the fixtures and fittings of your home! Your rent includes:
Your bedroom and all its furnishings
Access to all the communal areas of your home and everything that comes with it, e.g. kitchen utensils (see more here.)
Communal Netflix (and TV)
Sonos sound system
This is your room and we want you to be comfortable here. You can add/remove any furniture (including hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy.
Please note, each room is rented fully furnished and equipped. We do not provide any removal or storage services and there may be charges if the room is damaged.
We love all pets, but sadly we can't allow for pets in our homes. You are sharing your home with others who may not love sharing their space with animals, and we want to make sure everyone can be happy in their homes.
If there is a gym in your building it will be included in your rent. We recommend speaking to your concierge to book an induction (if you need one). Most of the gyms in our buildings have set opening hours. To find out specific opening hours either reach out to us or your concierge.
Your deposit is protected in escrow by DPS, the Deposit Protection Service. They hold your deposit in a special bank account with two 5-digit keycodes - one for you, one for us.
They will have emailed this to you when you joined us. When you reach the end of your time with us we will enter our keycode and the DPS will email you asking you to do the same.
They will then pay your deposit into an account of your choosing, less any damage charges if we agree them with you.
If you book more than 14 days before moving in, you may only pay a $300 Down Payment now to guarantee your stay. If it's less than 14 days, you need to pay the first month's rent as well as a security deposit.
Coliving.com will transfer your rent and deposit to the host 24h after you move in.
The deposit is refunded directly by the host within 30 days of the lease end date.
The deposit will be returned in full if you have no pending charges, and have followed the check-out process.
