Barcelona's first and finest CoLiving Community.

Dedicated to all the Location Independent Professionals and Digital Nomads wishing to work from Barcelona. Existing accommodation alternatives such as hotels, hostels and AirBnB, do not take into account the needs of this new breed of traveller. Which is why we have created A Landing Pad! Quality accommodation and a community of new friends/coworkers await so that you can hit the ground running...

A Landing Pad offers 12 ensuite bedrooms and 1 Mini Apartment.

Each bedroom has an original wall mural painted by visiting international artists, a comfortable double bed ( we have some twin rooms for friends that want to share also), AC, private bathroom & wardrobe and desk. Some have balconies and private terrace tables. All are clean and comfortable. Sheets and towels are provided and rooms are cleaned weekly.

We are located in a large house (we converted an old hotel!!) on the edge of Montjuic Hill, so surrounded by nature, but also on the edge of the city, an area full of vibrant tapas bars, picturesque plazas, trendy bars and restaurants, yoga studios, boutique shops, ecological stores, theatres and artistic centres are popping up around this Poble Sec barrio (neighbourhood).

The house boasts a large guest kitchen and a HUGE roof terrace with outdoor work spaces, yoga area, ping pong, BBQ!!

This place is made for you!

If you ever have the chance to work remote from Barcelona and stay in a place like this - DO IT. My time at the Landing Pad has been nothing short of incredible.

I don't even know where to begin...Here are some of the highlights:

The Space:

The space itself is amazing. The rooms and clean, come with their own bathrooms, and all have fully functioning A/C. Some of the cheaper rooms are a bit tight on space, but it's completely manageable. The nicer rooms have more space, as well balconies overlooking the street. On top of the building is a sprawling roof deck, equipped with sitting areas, benches and tables to work, a barbecue, 2 hammocks, and a ping pong table. The roof deck plays a central role in day-to-day life - it's where we all meet, grab drinks, hang, and make plans at the end of each work day.

The People:

This is probably the #1 reason to come to Barcelona and stay in the Landing Pad. The people I met here were among the most remarkable, impressive, and wordly people I've ever met. Among the friends I've made are a Canadian real estate mogul who just published a best-selling book, a British Web Developer who built Steve Spielberg's website, 2 American Entrepreneurs who own their own Marketing Agency, and a handful of brilliant freelancers who have seen every corner of the globe.

Being around people like this is intoxicating. Each person brings a unique expertise that they willingly offer to their fellow co-livers. We plan trips together, go out on the town together, and help each other grow our respective businesses and careers. You grow to love these people.

The Location:

The location is wonderful. Close enough to Barceloneta, Las Ramblas, and the Gothic Quarter that you can walk there, but far enough away that you can get some peace and quiet. The space is tucked at the foothills of Montjuic, in the neighborhood of Poble Sec. If you like running, it's a 4.5-mile round trip jog to Barceloneta, and a 3-mile jog roundtrip to Montjuic castle, where you can get (in my opinion) the best view of the city.

About me:

I am a Growth Marketing Manager who works for a Boston-based tech company. I work remote from New York City, but opted to spend the month of August working from Barcelona with my girlfriend. It was a great decision.
