Strip District

The Strip District is one of Pittsburgh's oldest neighborhoods, once home to the railyard and truckyards that delivered the produce and other goods to the city for distribution. While some standbys remain, such as Sunseri Bros, Stamoolis, and Wholey's Fish Market, they are joined by bars and restaurants like Bar Marco, Osteria, Roland's, Harp & Fiddle, and the PA Market.

Also just a block away is the Terminal Building. The multi-block long produce terminal has been transformed into a mix of fitness, restaurants, and stores - including golf!

Are there any good restaurants nearby?

The Strip District is one of Pittsburgh's culinary hot spots. From higher-end offerings at Bar Marco and DiAnoias, to food trucks (check out Lucy's Bahn Mi!) you won't be looking for food for long.
What public transportation is available?

Pittsburgh Regional Transit's 86, 87, 88, and 91 all have stops 2 blocks away on either Penn or Liberty ave.
What is there to do in the area?

Shop, eat, and play. The Strip District is a historic produce and market district, and much of that still exists, however with destinations like arcade games at Coop Deville, simulator golf at OnPar, or one of TWO indoor mini golf locations, your options are endless.
