This newly built modern apartment is guaranteed sunlight as it was built as an elevation of the existing building. Built around two open floors, it enables to share enough while keeping some privacy for each room. The working area on the second level are over-looking the living room, which in turns opens up onto a small terrace but running all along the apartment - a unique find in Paris given that there is no vis à vis (meaning, no close neighbours to watch you sunbath). Be aware that there is no elevator in the building, but you can trust us when we say that the view is worth it!
The main purpose of our community is to make it possible for people—regardless of background—to feel comfortable and at home with their housemates, and have the opportunity to build long-lasting, authentic relationships.
To allow members the opportunity to get to know their housemates and expand their networks, we sponsor activities. One way this is done is by way of the sponsored welcome dinner: each time a new member moves in, Our team sponsors a dinner for all housemates to get to know one another. We then hope to see our members come together and join the various other events hosted throughout the year by us or other members!
As a member, you will also get exclusive access to our online community via the member app. In the app, you have the possibility to join or start an interest group and get in contact with other members in your own city and across all other cities in which We are present.
The apartment is located in the Quartier de la Roquette, bordering the 11th and 12th arrondissements of Paris. It is a low-key, largely local neighbourhood which is home to what Parisians call “hidden cities”. For a couple of blocks away you will find the village de Charonne: from paved streets to tiny colourful houses, and traditional glass fronts… it almost feels like you have left Paris! With Bastille, Oberkampf and République at its doorstep, you have found yourself in one of the most entertaining areas of Paris. And what would Paris’ festive scene be without food ? Rue de Charonne is a street that cuts through the centre of the Roquette neighbourhood, lined with gastronomic restaurants that will delight your tastebuds ! Wether it is at the Michelin-star Bistro Paul Bert, a very old-school, classic French bistro, or at Alain Ducasse (also Michelin-star) chocolate factory for a sweet craving - everyone will find something they like. If shopping is what you fancy most, the famous Marais is just a 10-minute walk away, with its hipster vibes and arguably the best second hand shops in the capital (and dare we say, in Europe ?).
