Top Questions

Will I have privacy?

Yes, you’ll definitely have your own privacy at 500 Wilson Ave. Each resident has their own private, secure space, and we make sure everyone feels comfortable and respected. Common areas are shared, but your room is exclusively yours.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, we don’t allow pets at this time. This policy helps us create a comfortable environment for all residents, including those with allergies or sensitivities. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?

We love that you're considering sharing a space! However, our policy currently allows only one registered tenant per lease to ensure a smooth and organized community. Thank you for your understanding, and feel free to reach out if you have more questions!

Is there a designated space for work?

Yes! We’ve provided a comfortable table and desk setup where you can easily work or study. The space is designed to be bright, cozy, and functional—perfect for productivity and focus.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?

You’ll be sharing the unit with friendly, respectful young professionals and students. We carefully match residents to maintain a peaceful, clean, and comfortable living environment for everyone.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?

The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?

You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.
- If the property substantially differ from what is advertiser, you report it to us and we will help you find another place.

What information do I need to supply for the application?

For the application, we kindly ask for a copy of your valid ID along with supporting documents: a job letter if you are employed, or a student acceptance letter if you are currently studying. This helps us process your application smoothly and efficiently.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?

It really depends on the situation, but we’re always open to working out an arrangement to help with your plans. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate whether you’d like to extend your stay or shorten it.

Can I extend or shorten my stay?

We’re always happy to help if your plans change.

If you’d like to extend your stay, this may be possible depending on room availability. Please let us know at least 30–60 days before your lease ends, and we’ll gladly check availability and arrange the necessary updates for you.

If you’re considering shortening your stay, please keep in mind that leases are legally binding for the full term. That said, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. Specific conditions may apply, so we encourage you to reach out to us in writing as early as possible.

Our goal is to support you and find the best possible solution together. Don’t hesitate to contact us — we’re here to assist you every step of the way.
