Islow Coliving

The hosts and their children are friendly and welcoming, doing everything they can to make you feel at home. They are involved in their community, promoting culture and environmental protection, and bringing locals and guests together.

The house is old and built into and onto a rock. It's nicely renovated. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. The co-working space is well equipped and has fast Wi-Fi. The large kitchen is the meeting place of the house. Everything is well maintained and you feel very comfortable everywhere. The atmosphere is relaxed; everyone helps, cooks together, goes on trips together, but you can retreat at any time if you need privacy. Everything is possible; nothing is mandatory.

The town is a 2-minute drive away. A shared bicycle is also available. The beaches in the area are amazing! I enjoyed the beautiful, unspoiled nature, far away from the tourist crowds. A car is recommended, at least for the transfer to the airport (about 1 hour to A Coruña and Santiago) and to get to know the rest of Galicia. The roads are good and there was little traffic in the fall.
I can highly recommend this coliving! Surfers, nature lovers, and workationers will probably feel most at home here. Party people and cosmopolitans might prefer other places in larger towns. The only minor drawback was the country road right in front of the house. However, all the rest is just perfect and I really enjoyed my workation in September. Thank you very much to the hosts!

It has a special energy. I have been here twice in this coliving-coworking and I know I will return. It is a place where you can concentrate and work very comfortably: the coworking space is cozy, bright, and the wifi works perfectly. Then there is the house, decorated with great taste, taken care of with love, and with all the amenities. The surroundings are another gift: right in the Costa da Morte, surrounded by beaches, paths, and enchanting forests. But the most wonderful thing is the community that is created. Many of us arrive alone, and from the first day, they manage to make you feel part of something. Bonds are created, moments are shared, and you feel integrated, with people from all over the world and with those from there. This is one of those places I always want to return to. And I hope to do so at least once a year!

My experience at the coliving in Laxe as part of the Fixar program was truly transformative. It exceeded all expectations, offering a perfect blend of professional coworking and immersive local culture. The coworking space was amazing - modern and inspiring - perfect to boost productivity. The community activities and local engagement opportunities enriched my stay, making it both productive and personally fulfilling. The coliving in Costa da Morte isn't just a place to stay—it's a destination where work meets meaningful travel, setting a new standard for coliving experiences. Thank you very much!!

This summer my daughters participated in the summer camp, and it was a wonderful experience. They enjoyed activities like surfing, cooking, beach cleaning, and language exchange. They made new friends, had a great time, and returned every day with a smile and a thousand stories to tell. A unique place to learn, enjoy, and grow. A thousand thanks for making it possible! The team has organized a fantastic rural summer camp for local children and also for families from outside. It has been a very diverse, fun, and, above all, a very enriching experience on a linguistic level.

We had a wonderful stay these days in coliving. Thanks to the team for creating such a special environment and atmosphere. I spent a week working from there, with fantastic wifi, group activities, surrounded by nature and spectacular beaches, and met wonderful people. Thank you very much for hosting us; we will return!

iSlow is magical! My room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. There were beautiful common areas to interact with the community. Inez and Julio are welcoming hosts. I felt instantly at home. There was fresh bread delivered every morning as well as local eggs and oranges. Laxe is quaint with spectacular hiking and pristine beaches. My experience was so wonderful that I’m planning to return in May for the hiking retreat.

Everything about this coliving space is a 5+ star experience. The attention to detail in the rooms and living spaces, along with the warmth that Julio, Ines, and Laura bring, make it an incredibly special place. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome, and after a month, it was hard to leave! If you're looking for a cozy, quiet retreat surrounded by some of the most beautiful natural areas in Europe, this is your spot! The team goes the extra mile to provide a culturally immersive and tranquil coliving experience. I can't wait to go back!

This place is such a beautiful space! Inés and Julio have created an amazing environment, and I really enjoyed staying here for a month. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I'll definitely be coming back.

The house is stunning, featuring a big common area and cozy private rooms, allowing you to enjoy the community aspect as well as find some quiet time for work. There's also a perfectly equipped coworking area.

What stood out the most was how Inés, Julio, and their kids brought the local culture and tradition into the house. I had the chance to participate in various events and workshops, meeting other travelers and locals. They genuinely care about sustainability and sharing knowledge, and I learned a lot during my stay.

The location is also fantastic for surfing, with spots like Traba, Soesto, and Malpica not too far away. I won't forget my surf session with the dolphins!

My stay here was incredible. Julio and Ines are amazing; the nature around is so beautiful, and the house is really well renovated and comfortable. I hope to be back soon. :)
