The Golden Glades Interchange, situated on the northern side of the community, serves as a pivotal transportation hub with convenient access to various key destinations. Interstate 95, stemming south from the interchange, provides a direct route to the heart of Miami, spanning 11 miles (18 km). For those heading north-northeast, I-95 extends 15 miles (24 km) to reach Fort Lauderdale.

Florida's Turnpike, running parallel and inland from I-95, offers an alternative northbound route. Additionally, the Palmetto Expressway extends west and south from the interchange, covering a distance of 23 miles (37 km) to ultimately connect with U.S. Route 1 in Pinecrest.

For local travel, State Road 9, a surface road accessible from the same interchange, leads southwest, taking you 3 miles (5 km) to the center of Opa-locka. Meanwhile, U.S. 441 provides a southern parallel route to I-95, guiding travelers as far as downtown Miami.

Whether you're heading to the vibrant city center, neighboring Fort Lauderdale, or exploring the scenic routes to Pinecrest and Opa-locka, the Golden Glades Interchange serves as a central gateway, offering seamless connectivity to various destinations in the region.

Can I cancel a booking?

You may cancel with no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.
Will I get the same room as on the photos?

The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.
My booking has been accepted, now what?

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.
Can I tour the property first?

You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.
- If the property substantially differ from what is advertiser, you report it to us and we will help you find another place.
What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?

You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.
What if the place is not as advertised?

You have 24hrs to let us know if everything is okay. If you think you’ve been missold to, or the listing was significantly different to what you got, we’ll help you find somewhere else to live, or refund your money.

All residents have a bedroom within the home for more privacy.
Residents are to share the furnished common areas respectfully.
Are pets allowed?

PETS. Furry friends are welcome on a case-by-case basis (with an additional +15% regular listing rate). The number at 1-per room or 3-animals at a time, first-come first-served basis. Separate animal manuals for owners are provided.
Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?

Sure! If you're coming as a couple, we'll charge the member of coliving.com. Kindly coordinate between your partner/friend to pay their share with the member of the platform. We will require a valid form of ID for both guests.
Is there a designated space for work?

Two of the bedrooms (white king) and (blue queen) have tables in the room. There's also a great stop on breakfast bar, located between the kitchen and the den, where bar stools are located for easy stand-up desk action.
What types of people will I be sharing the home with?

We're looking for people between 21-40 years old. Ideally, where's looking for nursing-professionals or medical practitioners on-rotation. We expect each adult guest to behave accordingly and discourage the use/abuse of alcohol or any other substances in our spaces.

We gladly accept cosigners for applicants with limited credit history or income.
Is there a Credit Score required?

We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.

What do you look for in applicants?

We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people.
Can I check-in early? Late?

Due to our previous experience with guests pushing out limits by arriving either too late or too early, we have a $20/hr fee outside of our check-in window (4 pm-7 pm) because we must pay the staff for working past their regular hours:
Can I extend or shorten my stay?

You may extend as long as we have availability. For shortening stay, kindly check our cancellation policies.
When/how will you refund my security deposit?

No security deposit is needed for the stay.

Can I receive post/mail to the property?

Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.
Are guests allowed during the day/night?

Guests are allowed in the visiting area but NOT in the bedrooms. Strictly no guests overnight. Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions. Overnight guests in common areas past 11 pm will be charged a $50/ea.
Are kids allowed?

As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.
Are service and emotional support animals allowed?

We do not accept pets.
By law, we allow service dogs. Our staff is allowed to ask two questions to determine what service the animal provides if it's not obvious:
1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and
2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
We define service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs and pets whose sole function is only to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and will not be allowed.

Can I change rooms or apartments?

Of course. If a room is available and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference if exist. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee.
Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?

Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly.
What are the quiet hours?

On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.
What is the policy on alcohol?

It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property. If any guest is habitually abusing alcohol such as being incoherent, finding it hard to balance, or passing out in common areas, then we will reserve the right to disallow alcohol on our premises.

What potential costs are there besides the rent?

We recommend that you have renters insurance. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is on your own.
Are all rooms furnished?

The common areas come fully furnished. Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential.
Any meals/snacks included?

No. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience.
Are the private bedrooms cleaned?

Sadly, we only offer a cleaning service in the common areas.
Is there a kitchen where I can cook my own food?

You have access to a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
We ask that you clean up any mess you make during and after food preparation. Kindly label all food items and left-over (with date). Anything over a week old or left unlabeled in the fridge will be thrown-out.
Can I work in the common area?

You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirement for the day.
Do I have to clean the room when I check out?

Yes, kindly strip the bed sheets and make sure the trash bins are emptied before leaving.
Do you have storage space for my stuff/luggage?

No, all your personal items must be kept in your room.
Is the communal area cleaned?

Yes. The communal areas are cleaned once a week.

How many people will be living here during my stay?

Between 3 to 6 people, including yourself. Each of the three (3) rooms may host up to three (3) people max.
What are the nationalities of the other guests?

What is the average length of stay?

Most people are staying with us for a while. Between 1 to 3 months on average.
Is there a house/community manager?

Yes. The community manager is responsible for maintaining a good atmosphere in the house and the well-being of the members.

Are my belongings safe?

Even though we have been lucky that nothing has gone missing, we recommend all our members to keep their valuable belongings in their rooms. For extra precaution, buy Renters Insurance in case of lost items and accidents.
Can I lock my bedroom door?

Yes. You will be given a key upon check-in. Please do not lose the key. Lost keys will be charged with an extra cost of $50.
Does the building have security? What is done to make me feel safe?

We take your safety very seriously. The last thing we want is to have a reputation for not being a safe place to stay. We screen both our staff and guests, provide 24-hour security and CCTV cameras are usually installed. Plus, you have people in the house practically 24 hours a day.
