This is not the first four-bedroom home we’ve occupied in this building, and there’s a good reason for that. It’s a beauty. Practically overlooking Marquis de Pombal, the location is ideal, and the actual home, well, it speaks for itself. Very recently renovated, the kitchen and bathroom finishes are modern and tasteful. Historic Portuguese charm shines through in the building’s ornate golden lobby, the gated elevator, and the marble staircase. Expect a rich colour palette and to accentuate the gorgeous dark wood floor.

It’s a neighbourhood that sits high on our ‘fave places in Lisbon" list. By staying here, you’re out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre but still close enough to walk there when you’re in the mood for some fun. Parque Eduardo VII, a short 2-minute walk away, is a haven of greenery for muggy days and midday strolls. Marques de Pombal (also 2 minutes away) connects you to the famous Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon’s most sought-after boulevard—a privileged commute route to take towards Bairro Alto or Alfama.

🚋 If you fancy taking public transport from the airport, then jump on the Red Line (Vermelha) to Saldanha station, changing to Yellow Line (Amarela) to Marquês de Pombal. Yon Eduardo is a lovely and simple 4 minute walk from there. You can also take the Red Bus (738) to Rua Joaquim António Aguiar which is right next to the home.
🚗 Uber is also available from Terminal 1 and will cost between €7 - 20, depending on the time of day. The Uber meeting point is on the departure floor (2nd floor). Alternatively, you can find taxis on the arrival floor right beside where you exit the airport. The latter tends to be more expensive.
