We offer a unique coliving experience with a main house and separate casitas, creating a warm, communal atmosphere while preserving everyone’s privacy.
The Main House:
2 Spacious Bedrooms: Each bedroom features a queen bed, private bathroom, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an outdoor kitchen for added independence.
Modern Comfort: Each room is equipped with a wardrobe, air conditioning, and a fan for a comfortable stay.
Large Living Room: The big-screen TV is located in the living room for shared entertainment.
Casitas in Community Style:
3 Casitas: Each casita comes with a double bed (king or queen), private bathroom, flat-screen TV, offering both comfort and privacy.
1 Casita: This casita has two separate bedrooms – one with a king bed and the other with two twin beds – plus a living room with a flat-screen TV, ideal for friends or families, comfortably accommodating two people per room.
Outdoor Common Areas: Enjoy a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and a cozy seating area perfect for relaxing or socializing, all connected with high-quality Wi-Fi.
All of our rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, air conditioning, WiFi, television (except in the children’s room of the family casita Terre & Mer), and private bathrooms with hot water. Sheets, blankets, and bath towels are provided.

Our property is 92 km west of Panama City and 57 km east of David, easily accessible via Tocumen International Airport and David International Airport. For Canadian travelers, Rio Hato Airport, just 25 km away, operates seasonal flights. Casa Fofo is an ideal starting point for exploring Panama’s beautiful beaches, waves, and scenic landscapes.

Will I have privacy?Absolutely! If you rent the entire house, you'll have complete privacy. If you choose to rent a room, you'll still have your own private space, while sharing the common areas with other residents. We encourage everyone to respect each other's privacy and create a comfortable living environment.

Are pets allowed?Although we love all pets, we might have members with potential allergies, so, unfortunately, we can’t allow people to bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home.
We loves animals, but to ensure everyone’s comfort, we do not accept pets. Our three friendly cats roam freely around the property.
Residents must agree to take care of the cats during their stay. -
Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?We do allow couples and friends to stay in our bigger rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort.

Is there a designated space for work?There are no specific places for work. If you prefer outside or in your room, it's up to you!

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:

- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.

- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

What information do I need to supply for the application?To apply, we ask that you provide a valid passport or ID for all guests, your exact dates of stay, and the number of occupants. You'll also need to agree to our house rules. A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation, and full payment is usually needed before you arrive. Don't worry, any security deposit will be refundable at the end of your stay!

Can I extend or shorten my stay?Absolutely! We understand that plans can change. You can request to extend or shorten your stay, just make sure to let us know at least 1 week in advance. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs based on availability.

Do I need to sign a contract/lease?Simply agree to our online Residents Terms—no paperwork required. For long-term stays, please note that some hosts may ask you to sign an additional contract before moving in.

Is there a Credit Score required?We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?We aim to return your security deposit shortly after your stay ends! We’ll check your room for any excessive damage, but don’t worry—normal wear and tear is completely fine. We usually return the deposit in cash, sealed in an envelope, on your departure day. Are kids allowed?Our space is designed for work and creativity, so it’s best suited for adults. While we adore kids, they are welcome as long as they remain under the full responsibility of their parents. Parents must ensure that their children respect the work environment of other residents by keeping noise levels appropriate and being mindful of shared spaces.

Are service and emotional support animals allowed?We don’t allow pets, but service dogs are welcome by law. Our team may ask a couple of brief questions—such as whether your dog assists with a disability and what tasks it performs—to confirm it’s a working service animal. Please note that emotional support animals aren’t considered service animals and aren’t permitted.

Can I receive post/mail to the property?Yes! However, since there is no national postal service in Panama, standard mail delivery is not available. But don’t worry—there are still options!
For important letters or packages, you can use DHL for direct delivery. Another great option is to open an account with a private postal service, which is an affordable and reliable way to receive mail. Just keep in mind that it usually takes about 10 days to receive your items.

What are the quiet hours?- Music is allowed in the social area at a moderate volume, with respect for other users of the area.
- Only one audio device is allowed in the entire area.
- If the property is playing music, no other music may be played with another audio device. This would cause a cacophony!

What is the policy on alcohol?It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.

Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?Yes, your private bedroom is cleaned every week. To ensure the property stays clean and comfortable for all residents, a cleaning service is available.
• The cleaning staff typically visits once a week; the exact schedule can be arranged directly with the housekeeper upon arrival.
• Laundry service is not included. Residents are responsible for washing their own sheets and providing clean linens for the housekeeper. Please remove used sheets and place fresh ones on the bed before cleaning day so the housekeeper can make the bed. We kindly ask you to help maintain that cozy vibe by tidying up any extra mess. -

Does the building have security? What is done to make me feel safe?We take your safety very seriously. The last thing we want is to have a reputation for not being a safe place to stay. We screen both our staff and residents, provide 24-hour security and CCTV cameras are usually installed. Plus, you have people in the house practically 24 hours a day.
